From the very first time we saw Crystal Spartan we knew he was something truly special. Originally owned (and produced) by Crystal Lake Alpacas in Crystal Lake, Michigan, we were fortunate enough to become partners with some truly amazing people in this incredible male that was born right on their small but high quality alpaca farm. Little did we know then that Spartan would grow up to produce crias that were just as amazing as he was when we first saw him. He is an elite champion winning and producing herdsire with outstanding fleece; beautiful long fleece with high frequency crimp running consistently all over his body as you look from front to back and up into the top knot. His conformation is unsurpassed and his gentle disposition is reflected in his offspring as well. ??His first crias hit the show ring in 2012 and they are following in the footsteps of their sire winning multiple ribbons and banners all across the country at some of the industry’s toughest shows, including at the Futurity and National levels. The list of accomplishments of his offspring are a testament to the kind of herdsire he has grown into. Majestic’s Ahmazying, just one of our “Sparty” daughters has been champion winning at both the National and Futurity shows, in both fleece and halter shows, including Judges Choice fleece at the national show. Not to be outdone by that is Majestic Meadows Awethum, another cria sired by Sparty, a multiple champion winning at both national and Futurity level, and 2014 National Judges’ Choice winner! Crystal Spartan is the 2010 Brown Huacaya Male Futurity Color Champion and has several other awards to his name. Jeremiah, Jumanji’s sire, was born right here on our farm at Majestic Meadows Alpacas and then FIVE YEARS LATER ON the very same date Jeremiah sired an extraordinary male for us… Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji. Father and son both born on June 16 and both extraordinary males that continue to elevate our breeding program to the top. As with Jeremiah, Jumanji was extraordinary from a very early age and has impressed the most well-respected judges in our industry. The degree of density, fineness, character and consistency seen in Jumanji's fleece is truly extraordinary and something that every judge that has seen him has praised and awarded him highly for. His fleece is a wonderful dark fawn color with beautiful bundles, and an elite high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp coupled with incredible fineness. Even more amazing is the consistency in his fleece - it is the same from his hocks to his ears, running down under his belly. Packing all of that fiber onto a beautiful and conformationally correct frame, Jumanji stands proudly as another multiple champion son of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. His dam is an incredible dark fawn female named Peruvian Jasmine. Each of Jasmine's crias have been phenomenal, such as multiple champions Majestic Peruvian Olivia, Majestic Peruvian Jillian, Our Peruvian Jezebelle, and champion winning Jeremiah's Peruvian Grand Slam! With a pedigree like his, he was sure to be a winner! Jumanji’s offspring are now taking their rightful place in the showring at the top of the class winning championships and top ribbons in shows all across the country. The consistency we are seeing in Jumanji’s offspring has been an exciting thing for us as breeders to watch and we are proud to say that we feel Jumanji is doing is father very proud and producing the kind of top quality offspring we have been striving to breed for. We were excited when we witnessed the production from Jeremiah’s first couple of years and are even more excited as we watch the crias being born now sired by Jumanji.
