Tikanui, sired by the one and only Pucara Kahuna, has simply stunning fiber - white, lustrous, dense, with outstanding lock structure. And fine! At first shearing...20.9 micron!! Tikanui exemplifies the Suri phenotype. Indeed, Tikanui was even bestowed the special "best head" award by Don Julio Barreda's daughter Elena at the 2012 Futurity Show! He went on to win Reserve Color Champion at the 2012 Futurity. And, at over two years of age and 10 months of fleece growth since shearing, Tikanui won Color Champion at The 2013 Futurity, competing against other first rate, full-fleeced whites. His progeny have represented him in Get of Sire competitions and consistently strong representatives of their sire. Tikanui is consistently in the top 1% of EPDs. He was classified during out 2017 SHIP classification and received top scores for conformation traits, and amazingly high scores for all fleece characteristics. GLR Nico has produced a Futurity Champion every year he has been in Production! Many people who have purchased breedings to Nico over the years have put Champion offspring on the ground as a result.
