Diego's lineage of PPeruvian Pluro, Danko, grandsire Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol (6x Grand Color Champ) and Sire Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud 2005 AOBA Silver Nat'l Grand Champion are enough reason to want him in your breeding program! His 2013 fiber results are even more AFD 23.3; SD 5.2;CV 22.4; %>30 8.6; CF 91.4; sheared 10+ lbs; still this fineness at 7 years of age for DSG. We need to reduce our herd size and herdsires must go on to other ranches. Since Rincon was sold and has just left the area it is doubly difficult to sell Diego especially with the babies he makes. Diego has many cria on the ground & they are all lovely. We are very happy with those we have had personally and the ranches that have bred to Diego are thrilled with their babies. Diego's mama is a pretty black girl with silver throughout her body. His sire Rincon Cloud, speaks for himself, with his cria receiving multiple blues, color champions and reserves along with Get of Sire. Diego's string of blues began in '07 with a rave review from Judge Wade Gease's , "This young man had a presence as soon as he entered the ring...his feet glided across the grass, his toes pointed straight ahead...he's consistent throughout...good density and wonderful fineness...beautiful conformation". That was just the beginning followed by Wade praising him again at AlpacaMania for his "exceptional conformation, extreme fineness, beautiful crimp and consistent fiber character". He continued to stock pile blues and more at every show and fiber exhibition we had him in until he began breeding. Diego has a sweet personality, isn't skittish and comes right to us or visitors. His fiber is exceptional and butter fine, his micron stats have always been great for a light animal let alone his coloring! They rank right alongside with some of the best in the nation! His fineness, luster, excellent dense coverage, beautiful typey head and strong bone structure will add great qualities to any herd. His conformation and proud presence was apparent since he was born and all the judge's comments confirm it. Now with so many cria on the ground it is great to see that he passes his fiber qualities on to his offspring and he is making more all the time! This is your opportunity to add Diego's beautiful DSG coloring to your herd not to mention his sweet personality, incredible fineness and his impressive genetics.

Serenity or Serra as she is called is a second generation girl from Legacy son Taos. She is a ¾ Accoyo full Peruvian gal with exceptional genetics. She was sired by an Accoyo Elite son PHA Accoyo Vortex. Serra brings a well proportioned frame with good bone density and a solid top knot. She is structurally sound and balanced. Her fleece is well worth noting due to her exceptional brightness, high frequency crimp and silky handle. Serra has matured and carried the incredible fineness of her dam Trinity. She is becoming one of my low micron rock star dams! For 2014, Serra delivered her first cria, a ultra-white female sired by multi color champion Snowmasters Royal Extreme. 2015, Serra is bred to color champion, Morning Star's Don Diego (a $1,500 breeding fee value). Diego has a track record for producing amazing cria of color out of white dam's. By combining Serra's superb fineness with Diego's density and color (he is a modern dark silver grey), the result should be spectacular! What is said about Diego (2015 service sire): INCREDIBLE DENSITY AND LASTING FINENESS IN THIS BOY His fiber results at just shy of 9 years old are amazing! 2015 Histogram - AFD 20.5; SD 4.4; CV 21.2; %>30 3.3; CF 96.3; still this fineness at 9 years of age for grey is amazing! His biopsy follicle test (via Ian Watt) is even more impressive! Density - 62.8/mm with a Secondary:Primary fiber ratio of 13.1:1. Only 3 grey alpacas have ever tested higher in density and no grey alpacas have a higher S:P ratio (in fact, only 7 alpacas in ANY color have a higher S:P ratio - including white!). You'll have trouble finding a grey to put up a combination of those kinds of numbers anywhere! And Diego’s lineage is impressive, too - PPeruvian Pluro, Danko, grandsire Crescent Moon’s Rayo Del Sol (6x Grand Color Champ) and Sire Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud, 2005 AOBA Silver Nat’l Grand Champion, are enough reason to want him in your breeding program! Diego has many cria on the ground & every one of them is lovely. Morning Star Ranch is very happy with all those they have had and there are 6 that can be seen at Epic Alpacas where Serra is currently agisting. 3 of his last batch of 5 cria are all show-worthy and will be the ring in late 2015! 2014 Cria Histograms -- Avenger – 15.23 AFD -- Baratheon – 15.3 AFD -- Ophelia – 15.6 AFD -- Antoinette – 17.98 AFD -- Lazarus – 18.4 AFD LASTING FINENESS RUNS IN HIS BLOOD: Previous Cria Histograms -- Jacob at age 2 - 16.7 AFD -- Joshua at age 3 - 16.4 AFD -- Levi at age 2 - 20.1 AFD Relatives' Histograms -- Diamond (Mom) at age 12 - 23.00 AFD -- Black Pearle (Maternal Sister) at age 5 - 17.52 AFD -- Angel (Maternal Sister) at age 7 - 21.89 AFD Diego’s string of blues began in ’07 with a rave review from Judge Wade Gease: “This young man had a presence as soon as he entered the ring. His feet glided across the grass, toes pointed straight ahead. He’s consistent throughout-good density, wonder fib
