UPDATE: sometime in the summer of 2018, Manchu quit producing sperm. We finally tested and confirmed in spring of 2019. He had a long run and produced many outstanding cria. We are thrilled to still have daughters, sons and grandlkids still in the herd. He is retired to live out his time in the old guys pasture. Dasie Mae is the pride of Brookfarm Alpacas. Her fleece is ultra soft, bundles nicely. She has high amplitude crimp, very consistent across fleece, with a very soft handle. Dasie has great coverage from head to toe, good conformation and a perfect bite. And her shorn fleece always weighs in as one of the heaviest of the herd. Her dam is a great mom with correct conformation, strong bones and births easily and has lots and lots of milk. Dasie Mae is already showing this correct conformation, and has had easy births of her own as well.
