Patriot has been quite successful in producing appaloosa cria. He has sired 4 appaloosa (2 harlequins) - three of the appy cria came when bred to appy dams and one appy bred from a fawn dam. Patriot has good reviews with the judges and has done well in the ring. People love to see him as he is very different from most, he would bring character to your herd with great genetics (4Peruvian Black Magic, SA Peruvian Black Epic). Patriot has great fiber, is nicely dense, and produces a heavy amount of fiber. His father (Hobby Horse Farm Great Expectations) is bay black and mother (MA AVA SW40) is light fawn. Cookie is a large female with great fiber and AMAZINGLY impressive coloring. She is the "dream" alpaca for those of us that love pattern & appaloosa markings. She gave birth to an appy male in 2010 and an appy female (with Harlequin marked face) in 2011 and a reverse appy male in 2012. Easy birther with high Igg's. Easy to work around, GREAT mother & sometimes thinks of herself as a "guard llama". She will stand her ground against just about any perceived threat. Three breedings to an appy male - produced 3 appy cria. Her 2013 cria was a paint after being bred to a paint. 2014 UPDATE - She produced another appaloosa cria. A FEMALE! *yay* That makes 4 out of 5 cria being appaloosa. 2017 UPDATE - She produced yet another appaloosa cria. A male, sired by Patriot. That makes 5 out of 6 cria being appaloosa. 2018 UPDATE - Once again, Cookie has produced ANOTHER appaloosa cria. A female, again sired by Patriot. That makes 6 out of 7 cria being appaloosa. Wow!
