Full ownership in Orlando is now available. See Orlando in motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSagJk4leNs How many gray herdsires are out there who have produced offspring winning over 80 BANNERS, over 160 BLUE RIBBONS, and still producing CHAMPIONS? Orlando Cloud is a stunning male who has without a doubt helped boost the quality of gray huacayas to new heights. So often a male shines for a few years, and then is overtaken by higher quality. Not so with Orlando. In 2008 his offspring began winning top honors, and since then at almost every large show his offspring, and now grand kids and great grand kids, continue to bring home banners and blues. Gray Alpaca Co. recently had four Orlando offspring in a row, and this group is simply outstanding. We can't wait to see them in the show ring. At the October Empire Extravaganza in Syracuse, NY, his offspring won two CHAMPIONSHIPS, including Gray Championship in fleece, and a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP, along with 4 Blue Ribbons. He continues to stamp out high quality crias. Orlando's accomplishments are many, and he was named HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013, and 2014. This award is based on the number of points accrued by winning offspring at MAPACA, to date the largest show in 2013. Here is the new standard for gray! Orlando stands above the rest with his consistent, dense architecture from his tail to his topknot. The judges have raved about this male from the time he hit the show circuit, and his offspring are now following in his footsteps with multiple Championships and Reserve Championships. When bred to gray or black his cria's colors have been primarily gray, and he has also shown the ability to throw gray out of fawn. Orlando's stud fee is $5,000, with generous discounts for drive by breedings. For details please contact Nancy at [email protected] or Jeff at [email protected]. Offspring Show Wins Update: Orlando offspring were first shown in 2008, and to date they have won over 80 Color Championships/ Reserve Championships, and over 160 Blue Ribbons! Snugglers' Peruvian Carmeltina

Here is another gem from Storybook Alpacas, and no one can write a description better than Reba. So we've included here, her thoughts about this special girl who we now have the good fortune of owning. When we began Storybook Alpacas we were told to start with the best. Carmeltina, a full Peruvian, Pendragon of Peru daughter, one of our first animals, came to us with multiple championships and bred to Snowmass Golden Seal. She is magnificent with beautiful fleece and an extraordinary elegance we have not seen in any other animal, all complemented by her gentle personality. Soft, dense, consistent fleece from Carmeltina has supplied us with a beautiful supply of yarn showing off her Royal Fawn heritage. Attesting to her value are her siblings who have also done well in the show ring and her crias who, with one exception, have all won 1st up to multiple champion and even a judges choice either in the ring or on their fiber. Carmeltina has gone on to prove herself with show stopping crias, textbook births and has been the perfect vision of motherhood. Her attentiveness to her crias has been amazing and her milk supply - well our vet called her a dairy cow! Carmeltina, the mother of multi-champions Maia and Manifestation, threw an adorable, light silver grey, pure peruvian daughter out of the now-deceased Brinx in June. She has that coveted big bone and a curious personality that just doesn't quit! Curious Belle is a beautiful, big-boned, incredibly curious, soft, silver grey Brinx (now deceased) daughter who is now owned by Gray Alpaca Co. With Belle's Champion dam herself being the mother of blue ribbon up to Judges Choice offspring including the Multi-Champions Maia and Manifestation, Belle is bound to improve your herd. Her sire carried the lingering fineness that is so coveted and Belle is one of your last chances to obtain his crias.

Description

Strong characteristics from two multi champion alpacas "fused" to produce this young herdsire. He has the Orlando look, and his dam is a beautiful, sturdy, past champion. He has the presence and conformation that is expected in high end males, and his fleece is yummy! Fuzion will be shown in the fall.
