This is the male that we have been waiting for! Butterscotch has everything that we could have asked for in an appy/harlequin herdsire. His phenotype is perfect - a macho, square build with big bone and a beautiful head. Even at his age, he is covered in fiber from head to toe and still sports a nice, distinct crimp structure. In 2008, over 10 pounds of fiber was shorn off of him. He's a fleece machine! With his ideal conformation and his quality fleece that exemplifies bright luster, extreme density, and exceptional staple length, it is no surprise that he did so well in the show ring. He's a multi blue ribbon winner and achieved his first place recognition in some very competitive shows. The best part? He's passing on his best traits to his offspring! He has already proven his ability to push build, fiber, and SPOTS from both spotted and solid dams.

Aiko was a beautiful, medium rose grey harlequin. She had a great staple with loads of soft, bright fiber - not to mention, she was covered in fleece from head to toe. She had great confirmation, and her head was absolutely beautiful. She was the only registered offspring of TGA Mario - a ribbon winning, appaloosa herd sire out of a long line of spots including Senna's Zoey and 6Peruvian Century. Her sire's lineage also included big names like Peruvian Hemingway and 6Peruvian Bruna. Her dam, Zenith's Peruvian Kismit, was a medium fawn girl with some impressive names behind her as well. Her lineage includes PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, Majestado De Peru, 6Peruvian 007, and many more. Aiko was a phenomenal girl - one that we feel privileged to have had as part of our herd. Unfortunately, we lost her due to birthing complications. We are lucky to have 3 of her spotted daughters to carry on her memory in our herd. She was 6 for 6 when it came to spot production - definitely one of those game changing girls in the spotted world. She will be truly missed. We already regret this, but have decided to list Hatchie! This has been a very hard decision, but we own both his sire and his dam. We also have multiple appaloosa herdsires already, so we felt he'd be more beneficial getting more use in another herd. Hatchie is out of our multi-blue ribbon winning herdsire, Mr. Butterscotch. Scottie is still exemplifying a beautiful crimp structure, even in his older age. He has been a producer of Appaloosas/harlequins, and we know Hatchie will one day contribute his own. His dam, Aiko, is one of our favorite girls. She’s boxy and true to type with beautiful coverage. She’s a Harlequin girl that stems from a long line of spots. She’s the only registered offspring out of TGA Mario, who is now deceased. Please be sure to visit the links to find out more about his sire and dam. There are also pictures of the animals in their heritages. The attached certificate includes highlighted names of known appaloosas and harlequins.
