Mr. Butterscotch

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn, Dark Fawn, Light Silver Grey
AOA# 30320970DOB: 9/15/200519 yrs
This is the male that we have been waiting for! Butterscotch has everything that we could have asked for in an appy/harlequin herdsire. His phenotype is perfect - a macho, square build with big bone and a beautiful head. Even at his age, he is covered in fiber from head to toe and still sports a nice, distinct crimp structure. In 2008, over 10 pounds of fiber was shorn off of him. He's a fleece machine! With his ideal conformation and his quality fleece that exemplifies bright luster, extreme density, and exceptional staple length, it is no surprise that he did so well in the show ring. He's a multi blue ribbon winner and achieved his first place recognition in some very competitive shows. The best part? He's passing on his best traits to his offspring! He has already proven his ability to push build, fiber, and SPOTS from both spotted and solid dams.

Alpaca Republic's Morningstar

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 30700086DOB: 5/28/200618 yrs
Alpaca Republic's Morningstar (or Star as we call her) is a big, beautiful girl who's full of personality. She is one of our herd leaders and is the first to alert the group of any suspicious activity. Star has a great staple for her age and tons of soft fiber. She's a big girl with a nice square stance. She took blue as a yearly at A-OK Alpaca Blast Off in 2008 and has continued to carrying her winning traits as she has aged. Her lineage boasts some big names including Royal Fawn, Show Me the Money (multi-champion), and Peruvian Hemingway. Star is a great mom and produces beautiful cria. To date, she has produced two white, one dark brown, a pattern, and a light fawn female with two spots.

HuacayaMaleBeige, Medium Fawn
AOA# 32673975DOB: 7/15/201311 yrs
This guy has it all - confirmation, coverage, density, fineness, and SPOTS! He's square with a macho stature with massive bone. He's our heaviest boy on the farm with a very sturdy build. He is covered from head to toe with curls of fleece all the way down to his ankles. He's very soft and lots of fiber packed onto his frame. All of this is really no surprise since his sire is 7x champion Hobby Horse of a Different Color. Several Black Epic lines have produced appy - we're happy to have this guy in our herd. Patch is currently closed to outside breedings, but may have opportunities to purchase girls that are bred to him. Description

Louise's name fits her perfectly. Her dam has produced spotted offspring before, so we just knew a little appaloosa would be joining our herd. To our surprise, she only has two brown spots. Geez Louise! Right?! Yes, there's a lack of a few spots, but she does have a lot of great qualities. She's a spunky girl who's light fawn with two dark brown spots. Her fiber is coming in nicely and she's very soft. Not to mention, she's out of a beautiful appy male, Mr. Butterscotch. Her 2019 cria is a beautiful, fading fawn girl out of Easy Touch's Easy Rider. Check out our package deal to get mom, cria, and a breeding - perfect for any spotted program!
