Just back from the 2016 AOA National show in Washington DC and September's spin-off entry took first place! In a 2 and older class, his fleece was his 6 yo fleece! Fiber stats for 2016 will be coming soon! Mention his spin-off win and get a $750 breeding! 2015 Fiber Stats now in! This is the type of fleece we are striving for. At 69 MONTHS, September is sporting a 20.2 micron fleece with a 98% comfort factor. We had the amazing opportunity to purchase this awesome boy in a retirement sale from a local farm. I had always admired him from afar and seen some of his cria and was impressed with all of them. Even at nearly 7 years of age, he is exhibiting the qualities that you want to see in an older animal. His fleece is still retaining it's fineness and beautiful crimp structure along with some impressive density. His ARI sports a who's who of the alpaca world. And if disposition is important to you, this guy ranks right up there with the most mannerly gentlemen that have ever lived on my farm. We proudly own September with our friends at Alpacas of York. We'd love to have you stop and take a look at this amazing boy. Seppy has produced quite a few outstanding offspring but is now enjoying retirement.

In nearly 14 years in the alpaca business, I have yet to have a patterned animal born on the farm. They are not particularly better or worse than any other color, but when you haven't had something, of course that's what you want the most. In the spring of 2015 I was helping a neighbor and friend with his shearing and I had the pleasure of shearing this lovely girl. Her fleece was extremely fine with a beautiful character. She is put together nicely and I certainly admired her "curb appeal". So imagine my surprise when talking with my friend, he told me of his desire to have a new herdsire, particularly one in gray. Over the years, I have been blessed with gray boys. So without thinking that the offer would ever be accepted, I suggested a trade for one of my proven gray boys for this lovely girl and it was accepted. We have chosen to breed her to the incomparable Accoyo September. His size, density and lovely fleece should be a compliment to Bobbi's lovely qualities. 6/17 - Bobbi graced us with one of the nicest fleeced animals we've had on the farm. He's white, so I didn't get my pattern, but wow! He sure is dense, crimpy and has coverage down to his toes! 4/19 - Bobbi gave us a beautiful fawn boy out of Troubador. What a head on this little one!

Description

Sadly, we lost Robbie in a dog attack at our farm in 2019. Robbie is an extremely sweet boy. He has buttery soft fleece and lots of it. The staple length is great and it has a great hand. He has been worked with as a 4H animal, so he's gentle and easy to work with. His sire is light fawn, his mother a pattern, so it's hard to say what's hiding under that white fleece! I can tell you it's buttery soft and there was a lot of it! While he won't be ready for breeding until the spring of 2019 or later, we think he's worth a look.
