Some would argue that no other alpaca in the country has had as much impact on the industry as PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. He is a full Accoyo male with a history of passing on his fine-fibered genetics to his 406 offspring. Consistent show winners and high sellers, his progeny boast 108 known champions and 329 blue ribbons in every solid color group. Hand selected by the late Dr. Jim Vickers, Royal Fawn is the only light fawn Accoyo ever exported from Don Julio Barreda’s herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show, and record breaking highest selling male in alpaca history in October, 2005. He is the sire of Dom Lucilio, Double “O” Good’s legendary male known as the Herdsire of Champions with 73 known champion and nearly 200 blue ribbon offspring. Description

Springtime's sire, Peruvian Royal Fawn, is one of the most influential herdsires ever imported. He has 456 registered offspring in what appears to be every recognized solid color, and his get have won awards in every solid color group. What better to build a color foundation on than a Royal Fawn daughter? This is one female who knows, without a doubt, that she is royalty. She carries herself in a regal manner and moves with great dignity. Her conformation is impeccable, her proportions balanced. She has full leg coverage, down to her toes, and the skin folds that Accoyo alpacas are known for. Springtime has inherited the lasting fineness for which Royal Fawn is known. At age 4 years, Springtime's 2014 histogram showed an amazing 17.8 micron AFD with a 99.6% comfort factor, and her 2016 histogram demonstrates a 19.2 AFD. Springtime passes her fineness on to her cria, with her first cria having a 16.7 AFD on her third fleece, her second cria having an AFD of 13.7 with an SD of 2.8, and her 2016 cria being extremely fine and ultra dense. Springtime had a lovely leopard appaloosa male cria in September 2017 - he's so full of beautiful spots! She will be bred to our very own appy stud, Escher, this Fall for what we expect to be another fabulous appy baby in 2018!
