Kacie is a powerhouse of gray genetics, with Orlando on her dam's side, and daddy is Annual's Bea-2 Bomber. She is a top gray, foundation female. Service Sire: Stunning Legacy Of Buck Brook

Check This Guy Out!

Stunning Legacy Of Buck Brook

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey, Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 35090762DOB: 6/17/20177 yrs
In 2018, we set out looking for a young male that could be the star of our show string and have the potential to become a great herdsire for us down the line. We truly believe that we found that in Stunning Legacy. His genetics and great qualities could match very well with our females and what we believe that Elliot is going to produce for us starting in the spring of 2018. Stunning Legacy's sire is Nature's Reserve Legacy's Quest. He possesses Matrix and Legacy Genetics. As with others in the Matrix line, his fleece is getting better as he ages and he is in the top 1% of EPD's for 2014, 2015 and 2016. He also has the great ability to let the dam's color pass when bred to any color. MFI Stunning Weapon helped create this genetic masterpiece by contributing her a soft, bright and consistent fleece with uniform architecture. As for Stunning Legacy himself, he has a very consistent fleece with a very soft handle. He is also showing a great amount of character and density in his fleece at such a young age. He rounds that all off with great coverage and a head style that will make all our foundation females weak in the knees! Updates: 4/8/2018 - Stunnah stepped into the ring with the big boys at the North American / Northeast alpaca shows this weekend and showed that he had what it takes. Judges loved his conformation and consistency, with all the judges commenting on his great head style. 4/22/2018 - Overall, Stunnah face some stiff competition at MAPACA and came away with his first banner. We had him shorn at MAPACA and it uncovered the kind of skin rolls we dream of seeing. We are very excited what the future holds for this guy and can't wait to see how he looks in the fall. 11/11/2018 - Stunnah had his coming out party at the Showtacular in 2018. He took Reserve champion in halter, defeating a grey class full of the top grey genetics in the country. Judge Jude Anderson commented on his great density, substance of bone, conformation, and architecture.

Description

Introducing the girl that is giving us a crash course in modern grey genetics, Solar's Silver Promise of Buck Brook. We purchased this girl to spruce up our 2018 show string in style! We can't wait to see what she can do in the show ring and more importantly, what she can produce after that. Silver Promise is sired by a real "up and comer" in Snowmass Solar Paramount. Solar Paramount offers superior fineness, striking brightness, zipper crimp and perfect structure, to match his strong body structure. He ranked 51 out of 19,000 in micron in 2015 and 157 out of 21,000 in 2016, remaining in the top 1% of epds. You would expect nothing less when you combine Snowmass Matrix and Snomass XXXtreme. Her dam is just as impressive in the genetics department. Gray Alpaca Co Kacie Cloud is a genetic powerhouse when it comes to grey alpacas in this country. She is a cross between a daughter of the great Emerald Farm's Orlando Cloud and none other than Annual's Bea-2 Bomber. In the show ring, Kacie Cloud consistently placed in the top of her class, showing off her impressive bundling and fineness. Silver Promise's fleece is best described as "roan" or modern Grey. It is unbelievably fine, bundled, bright, and shows great character. Judges rave about her consistency across the blanket, which is not always the case in modern grey's. She is also very large for her age. Standing next to our full grown females, you cannot tell that she is only 1. She did very well in spring shows for 2018, placing at the top of her class, but she did not meet her full potential because she was born too late to get tip shorn. That being said, 2019 is another story! As a yearling, she was award 4 banners. The judges seem to agree that she is a special girl. She gave birth to an amazing 2020 cria
