Captain Jack Sparrow

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 1000320DOB: 7/13/200321 yrs
Captain Jack Sparrow is one of our signature herdsires. Captain Jack is a captivating fawn male with an elite fleece that is to die for. Shown three times as a juvenile; with three first place wins, a Color Championship, and a Reserve Color Championship to kick off his show career, this big boy was off to a great start. Captain Jack has left judges breathless, but certainly not speechless upon opening his fleece. Captain Jack is a Peruvian Dakotia son (Bueno) and from our exceptional fawn foundation female Peruvian Accent (Accoyo Leon). Dakotia is of course no longer available due to the unfortunate Land-O-Lakes feed poisoning incident. Captain Jack has everything that you are looking for in a herdsire – perfect conformation, tremendous fleece coverage, a soft handle with high frequency and high amplitude crimp, and a particularly dense fleece that is aging well. He is also throwing colors across the board; literally from white to black and gray. Captain Jack is Co-Owned with Peterson Creek Ranch.

Oooooooh Baby!

My Peruvain Fenja

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
DOB: 3/6/200222 yrs
When we got the call that MFI was retiring and had the chance to pick a few, this girl was at the top of the list. Just a remarkable female that has had a lasting affect on the alpaca industry in the United States. Fenja's first cria at KCF was a white female that did not disappoint! KCF Frangelica is a beautiful typie girl with an amazing fleece. She was snatched up quickly by a knowledgable breeder that knew just what he was looking for - quality!! Fenja's second for us is KCF Ferrari. Ferrari has a very fine and bright fleece with incredible match-stick bundles from head to toe!!. He has a straight and strong frame and, as his name implies, he has been a healthy racing machine since he hit the ground. For Fenja's third act at Kendall Creek, we have chosen the sire to be our home grown 17 time Color Champion, KCF Isidoro. We can only imagine the outcome on this one.... Even at this age, Fenja is in great physical condition and we feel has a few more cria left in her!!

Description

Congrats to Elk Creek Alpacas in Kentucky for their purchase of this young Junior Herdsire!! KCF Peruvian Ferrari is out of My Peruvian Fenja and Captain Jack Sparrow........I guess I could stop right there and drop the mike, but lets go on for a little bit. Captain Jack is a signature Herdsire at Kendall Creek and has thrown Champion offspring in every color group during his career. His offspring have won at least one color championship in every year since he began having cria. This male is what you call prepotent, and is timelessly relevant to the alpaca industry. Fenja is a multiple champion white female that has thrown such notable champions as My Peruvian Frontrunner and MFI & TNT Peruvian Foundation. Fenja has already produced a beautiful girl for us that sold quickly, and although we are not sure what the future will hold for Ferrari, we already think this young man is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Ferrari's fleece is all that you are looking for; bright, fine, and uniform. His conformation is all that you are looking for; square, straight, and correct. I'm thinking that if you are in the midst of a white breeding program, you may be in need of some speed to get your program on the fast-track. A Ferrari may work for you.
