Watch for those kids in their show string in 2014/2015. Zeppelin has 110 cria on the ground so far, and he is throwing a lot of black. From black based dams his current total is: – From 9 TB dams he has thrown 4 TB, 1 DSG, 3 BB, and 1 DF cria. – From 2 BB dams he threw 1 BB and 1 LF cria. – From 4 Silver greys (black base) he threw 3 TB and 1 MB. From light colors he often darkens the dam. – From 8 whites, he has yet to throw a white, with some beiges and even a TB – From 6 fawns, he has thrown a variety of colors, including DRG But regardless of color, with Zeppelin it’s ALL about the fleece quality. Zeppelin's Lineage: Zeppelin is prepotent for that fine fleece with gorgeous character. His dad, PHA Peruvian Taos, a stunning Legacy son, had a 22.9 AFD at 7 yrs. Zeppelin’s mom tested at 21.3 AFD at 7 years as well. Zeppelin also offers correct conformation, impressive presence, size, coverage, and substance of bone. His crimp, luster and dense lock structure are stunning and his staple length is extreme. Zeppelin is the big guy in the pasture that look s like a million bucks - he really is an impressive stud at his prime. Zeppelin is full Peruvian and 3/8 Accoyo.

PrairieMoon's Darla

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 32526325DOB: 5/28/201311 yrs
Darla is a dark brown female with black markings on her face. Darla is a 4th generation female on the farm and like her Mom is a real looker. Darla has a typey head, fuzzy ears and is very pretty. She has a large frame and is conformationally correct. You know how you think "gee that Alpaca is really elegant and regal looking" and then a few months later you take another look and think "she is really pretty" - well that is Darla. She has matured into a really lovely lady. Her dam, PrairieMoon’s Inca Gold, was a blue ribbon winner at 2010 GWAS at 2 years old. Darla 's 2016 BMF Taos' Zeppelin cria is here and she is stunning. We were so pleased with this cria that we bred Darla back hoping for another winner in 2017. Fiber Stats: 2014 – AFD 18.0, SD 4.1, CV 22.6% and %>30 1.6 2015 - AFD 20.5, SD 4.6, CV 22.3% and %>30 3.5

Description

BMF Taos' Zeppelin brings retained fineness across all colors, even browns and blacks. Zeppelin offers correct conformation, impressive presence, size, coverage and substance of bone to his offspring. Warp Speed is the most Zeppelin like Male in our herd. Speed is BIG, sturdy frame, large bone structure, square, balanced stance, sire like presence - AND a little attitude that shows he knows he is the MAN. Speed has a typey head with fuzzy ears - a good looking pretty male. Speed is a non-fading true black. Speed's fleece is bright, fine, long and has a soft handle. This guy at 2 years of age looks like a herdsire.
