You've seen the ads from Pacific Crest..."For lasting fineness...breed to the Accoyo America's Nautilus line." We couldn't agree more! And now is your chance to own one of the line! Diomedes has that perfect combination of fineness and density with an indescribable brightness, and he is passing it on...in lights and in color! First histograms on his offspring are fabulous! Of the 11 that we tested in 2010, all but three fell under 17 microns (with those 3 at 17.2, 19.1, 19.2,) and the SD's ranged from 2.9 to 3.7. AND SECOND HISTOGRAMS FOLLOW SUIT...OF THE NINE YEARLINGS TESTED IN 2010, ALL BUT TWO WERE UNDER 18 MICRONS. The fleece judge for 2008 Alpacapalooza, Cheryl Gehly, agreed with us about Diomedes' 2007 blanket. She wrote "Wow! Simply spectacular..." and awarded him 20 OUT OF 20 FOR FINENESS AND HANDLE, 9.5 OUT OF 10 FOR CHARACTER, AND 5 OUT OF 5 FOR DENSITY. In addition, Diomedes won the COLOR CHAMPION, BEST CRIMP, and JUDGE'S CHOICE awards. Naturally, we are thrilled with HIS accomplishments, but as we always say..."it's what they produce that counts." Halter judge Cathy Merkeley awarded Diomedes' first offspring, Diomedes' Dehlia, a blue ribbon in the Beige Juvenile Female class! Then NW Alpaca Showcase Judge, Sharon Loner, gave Dehlia the blue ribbon nod and the Reserve Championship at not quite 8 months of age. Dehlia has now given us cria...her first, a female, has the finest fleece we've seen...her first histogram was 12.4 AFD, 2.2 SD, 0.2%>30. Her second, a male, is looking incredible so far. Subsequent crias are bringing home ribbons as well even in the difficult white classes. Come see Diomedes and his superfine progeny in beautiful Idaho!

Presley has arrived! Another stunning animal out of Priscilla and William. Presley is the most like Priscilla and Shamroc. She is so calm and sweet it is hard to believe. Presley has excellent density already and that trademark head that has been criated over and over again with this pairing. April 2013 - Presley is now sheared and all I can say is WOW! This girl is exceptional. Density like a carpet and pretty fine for being fed alfalfa all winter. The character in her fleece is unlike most Sweet Williams. Very high frequency and of course with that trademark brightness. Spot on conformation and much smaller than I thought she was! Our best cria of 2012. I LOVE this girl!!!! Presley has definately followed in her sibblings footsteps, winning 2 reserve championships. The judges call her a stud female...she has exceptional bone and conformation not to mention extreme density and fleece length. Presley delivers a beautiful fawn male! Presley delivered a stunning light female out of Gangster in 2018 but we unfortunately lost her. Presley will hang out at KJ Alpacas. PENDING

Description

Harvard is a solid fleece producing machine! His conformation is perfect, his temperament is beyond easy and his fleece length is exceptional. This all leads up to a very solid herdsire prospect. March 2017, Little Man as we call him, had 7 inches of fleece! April 2017: Just sheared and our "Little Man" is very nice not to mention covered in fleece! His front legs sheared over 5 inch staple length of usable baby soft fleece! Harvard is out of Presley Alyst who is stacked with fleece. This was her first cria and she held her color well. His sire is Diomedes who was still producing low 20 micron fleece even at 13 years of age. Harvard would be a great choice for those breeders looking to add more fleece length and coverage. Update 2021: Harvard is still producing a lot of fleece. We need to find him a girl!!
