Patagonia’s Chilkoot is a compact herdsire with long staple length, fine fleece, and bright, luscious fiber. He has a beautiful head and compact body. In 2014, Chilkoot was assessed by Senior Judge, Amanda VandenBosch as an “A-.“ He has consistency in micron as well as in color, large bones, and a gentle temperament. His sire is Patagonia’s Lennox, the ultimate Multi-Champion herdsire. His dam, Patagonia’s Augusta, is a top-line production dam on our ranch. Augusta is a 3x Color Champion and received Reserve Champion at AOBA. Augusta also won 6 blues ribbons in her show career (one being at The Futurity). ESTATES NOVA'S DANIELLE Nova's Danielle is the daughter of Snowmass Nova’s Galaxy, a compact male with massive head and leg coverage, solid bone, a perfect bite and nice temperament. He’s the perfect package with wonderful bone, density and structure. Galaxy's baby photos grace the file of Snowmass Alpacas’ favorite faces file. His dam, Snowmass Chacasha, a ribbon winner herself, produces ribbon winners – Snowmass Simply Scrumptions Grand Color Champion 2008 IAO. Galaxy’s sire is none-other than Snowmass Nova out of Peruvian Casanova and Snowmass Drambuie’s Kaluha. Nova is one of Snowmass’ original black premier herdsires and is a producer of champions. Her dam is Sullivan Royal Debutante, one of our wonderful foundation females whose offspring have been blue ribbon winners on our show strings! Debutante's sire is TCB's Sullivan, an extremely handsome, full Peruvian, half Accoyo male with lustrous fiber. Her paternal grandsire is the famous PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. Nova's Danielle's granddame, HCF Karlie, possesses a fleece that is an amazing glistening rusty hue. BLUE RIBBON SON Danielle's 2018 son, ESTATES MIDNIGHT DORIAN, brought home a Blue ribbon at the 2019 Gold Country Gathering show! Offspring: On 8/21/17, Nova's Danielle gave birth to a lovely bay black female out of Patagonia's Chilkoot. Chilkoot is also the sire of 5x Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima (who is now one of our herdsires himself). On 10/20/18, Nova's Danielle gave us a handsome bay black male sired by our legendary champion producer, Snowmass Andean Midnight.
