In 2011 Park View Alpacas went to the AOBA National Show with four huacayas that had been sired by The Elite Maximus – they we MAXED out! 1st Place Get of Sire! 1st Place Produce of Dam! Judges’ Choice Female Huacaya! We don’t believe any other Huacaya breeder has ever matched these results. Two of his offspring were available at the 2011 Prestige Alpaca Auction, including 1 of his Judge’s Choice daughters – Camilina. This was a unique opportunity to add this particular combination of genetics to your herd! All told, offspring of The Elite Maximus have earned 25 Color Champion and Reserve Color Champion banners, 4 Judges’ Choice Awards, and 2 IAO Best Head awards. That’s just for halter classes. In fleece classes you’ll find a Supreme Champion, 6 Color and Reserve Champion banners, Best Crimp awards and Most Uniform Breeding Program awards. And of course, that’s just to date. Next year is coming! The list of The Elite Maximus’ offspring and their accomplishments is considerable. Of most immediate recognitions were the Prestige Auction headliners, Camilina, who sold for $55,000 as a 2nd Generation Color Champion and Judges’ Choice female huacaya. Don’t forget Cambria, who sold for $20,000 and 2011 International Alpaca Odyssey Best Head and highest score Walking Fleece winner. The Elite Maximus started his illustrious show career when he was only 8 months old, winning Res. COLOR CHAMPION at the 2002 Columbia Alpaca Breeders Association show. He then went on to win the JUDGE’S CHOICE Award at the Canadian International Fleece Show and the 2006 AWE fleece show. The Local, Regional, National and International awards and ribbons started stacking up from there! The Elite Maximus transitioned from the show ring to herdsire, that those awards were just the beginning of an amazing, award-winning dynasty.

This is an incredible 3/4 Accoyo girl with coverage from her nose to her toes with crimp, crimp, crimp everywhere and just a little button nose. She needs regular sheering around the eyes just so she can see. She handles very easily. Her fleece is incredibly fine, consistant all over her body, and with plenty of density. Update: New Cria with Javelin has arrived, and its a girl, FINALLY. Our births have been mostly males for 4 years running, so when we do get a female it is party time! The big event occured on October 11, 2012, and since the little girl is sired by 15 time champion Javelin, we now feel we can part with Sophia! All the rest of Sophia's females we have sold, and now that we have one we are keeping, Sophia can go on to do great things for your herd. The little girl is so nice we will breed Sophia back to Javelin for you! Consider her a bred female. She's been an excellent producer for us. Update: Sophia is off on maternity leave right now, but when she delivers the first part of October, we will rebreed her back for you to The Elite Maximus. His breedings are closed to outside breedings. That will be a cria worth waiting for! His cria are dynamite! Sophia will have free board for 6 months while the cria is nursing, then she can go home to you! Update: We held Sophia open til spring. She is getting bred to Elite Maximus right now for a June 2015 cria!
