Top 10% EPDs in 2021-2023! Andean’s Pegasus of Country Estates is our superb brown male whose first crias hit our show string in 2015. Pegasus has passed along brightness, fineness, & density to each cria that has hit the ground so far. His offspring have been awarded Color Championships, Reserve Championships and multiple Blue Ribbons, are key members of our show strings! Pegasus has genetics from PPeruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Andean Gold, & Snowmass Andean Bronze, & his sire, the stunning TB Snowmass Andean Midnight. His Sire is our own Snowmass Andean Midnight a beautiful, compact, true black “silky soft” male with an outstanding pedigree for fineness. His fiber is incredibly soft and shiny with a silky look and feel. It has a uniform low amplitude high frequency style of crimp. You have to see it to believe it! Pegasus received blues in 2011, 2012 and 2013. He won Color Championship at the IAO 2012 and 2013! PROVEN CHAMPION PRODUCER! Pegasus' crias on the ground are dynamite, stamped with beautiful, soft crimp! At 2015 TxOLAN, Judges Amanda VandenBosch & Arturo Pena awarded Pegasus Get of Sire, 2nd Place in a class with white Get of Sires. PATAGONIA ESTATES SUNRISE SERENADE

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Brown
AOA# 32300840DOB: 7/3/201410 yrs
Patagonia’s Estates Sunrise Serenade is like a breath of fresh air. Serenade has an incredible light brown, bright silky fiber, a gorgeous head, and is well-grown for her age. Amanada VandenBosch evaluated her as an A- when viewing our herd. Her sire, Patagonia’s Ernesto is “the pretty boy” fixer upper. He improves on fleece crimp and uniformity, producing dynamite “best head” for all of his cria, and adding density to the amount of fleece per square inch. He can make anyone’s cria look remarkable! When I first started raising alpacas eleven years ago, it was easy to recognize Ernesto’s cria and I would say, “Oh, that has to be Ernesto’s head,” etc. Ernesto really stamps all of his positive traits onto each of his offspring. Sunrise Serenade’s dam, Patagonia’s Sonrisa is a beautiful looking alpaca who showed as a medium fawn at GWAS, taking 3rd Place. She has traits as a good strong female, making her a “B” female, but bred “right” she can produce an “A” cria. That is what our goal is when selecting who is bred to whom. Serenade’s testing: AFD: 19.0; SD: 4.3; CV: 22.6; %>30: 1.8 (while nursing at 3 ½ years old) Offspring: On 7/1/17, Serenade gave us a marvelous DB female sired by Andean’s Pegasus of Country Estates. Estates Sweet Sandpiper won several ribbons in 2018. On 7/20/18, Serenade presented us with a lovely dark fawn female sired by Patagonia's Antonio. Estates Shebang won 3rd Place at the 2019 A-OK Alpaca Blast Off. On 8/8/19, Serenade gave birth to a gorgeous light fawn female sired by Snowmass Pure Passion. On 12/1/21, Serenade gave us a beautiful light fawn female cria.
