In 2010, he took a 2nd to his brother Snowmass Matrix Elite in two shows, International Alpaca Odyssey and the Futurity, with the judges stating that Matrix Elite was denser but Pure Passion finer. Correctly so, as you see in his 5th fleece which measures 17.0 AFD. PATAGONIA'S FRIDA Patagonia's Frida was assessed as an A- by Amanda VandenBosch. She is a daughter of the legendary Patagonia's Lennox, who has countless ribbons, and is a 14x Get of Sire winner, including 3 Get of Sire blue ribbons! Not to mention, he’s the sire of Ernesto, a 7-time Champion and Judge’s Choice winner! Her dam Melosa also produced Kaspa and Patagonia's El Vasco! Offspring: On 8/26/2010, Frida had PATAGONIA'S YSABELA, a pretty dark fawn female sired by Patagonia's Vittorio. Ysebela won 4th Place ribbons at the 2011 ABR Fall Festival and AOBA National Alpaca Shows. On 9/6/2012, Frida gave birth to PATAGONIA'S CHIFFON, a lovely beige female sired by Patagonia's Vittorio. On 9/7/2016, Frida gave us ESTATES PASSIONATE FAITH, a gorgeous light fawn female sired by Snowmass Pure Passion. Passionate Faith won Reserve Color Champion at the 2017 Western Alpaca Challenge while on our 2017 show string. PATAGONIA'S EL GALAN Patagonia’s El Galan has an elegant, soft handle, buttery fleece, and is a strong-boned pure white herdsire that has recently had drop dead crias hit the ground. It is nice to finally select the right breedings for this magnificent male to see his full potential as a sire of champions. El Galan’s progeny truly remind me of what his sire, Patagonia’s Cayo, looked like when he was a juvenile. El Galan’s dam, Patagonia’s Fantasma, has a show record of her own, and is on our foundation herd. El Galan has a nice stature, very crimpy fleece that is remaining soft, bright, and silky. This sire is definitely passing on these wonderful characteristics to his progeny with bundling, beautiful structure, uniformity of micron count and color in their fleece, adding dense, dense fleece and staple length. During the 2017 show season, his stunning juvenile crias have received Color Champion, Reserve Champion, and Blue and Red ribbons. In addition, his daughter Estates Wedding Tapistry was selected as the 2017 ABI Judge's Choice Winner! We couldn't be more pleased!
