Our VADER'S kids have hit the show ring, big time. True black son, Uproar, has been named 2 X AOA Supreme Champion and Judge's Choice at Futurity and GWAS. Vader's son Cinch has been named AOA National Black Champion and Vader son, Lights Out was named Champion black male at GWAS, while Vader son Applejack was named Champion fawn male at GWAS. Vader won the Get of Sire, dark offspring, class at AOA Nationals. What a start for the Vader kids!! VADER is a true black herdsire with exact conformation and top biopsy scores to support his fleece quality. And, he is deep true black offering the possibility of rich color in his offspring. VADER has an outstanding pedigree and is sired by the famous Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar who was named 2015 Res Herdsire of the Year. Vader's dam, Stone Brook's Midnight Lockdown is a true black multiple champion including AOBA Nationals. Add these genetics to Vader's biopsy scores and you can see why we're so excited about this boy. EXCEPTIONAL BIOPSY SCORES: DENSITY - 68 follicles/sq. mm (average 44.3), SECONDARY/PRIMARY FIBERS- S/P ratio, 12.1-1 (average 9.5-1), LUSTER - 4/4 glands (average 2.9), FINENESS - secondary fibers 21.5 (average 24.1). (Averages are for Suri Males, 2014 thru March 2016, Dr Norm Evans). Please click the article tab above and read the Skin Biopsies article, by Liz Vahlkamp, to more fully understand the importance of these outstanding scores. Vader can definitely add density, luster and fineness to his offspring and his locks are consistent and well defined. VADER experienced a significant fleece break as a youngster and as a result was never shown in full fleece. It remains for his offspring to bring home the banners. I'm proud to co-own Vader with Mike and Janet Wilkins at Wilkin's Ranch Alpacas.

Dam: GLR KORINNA

SOLD - MULTIPLE CHAMPION

GLR KORINNA

SuriOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 32533743DOB: 9/10/201311 yrs
GLR Korinna was the Res Champion Black Female at Futurity, MAPACA and GWAS in 2015. At the Futurity, Judge, Amanda VandenBosch, explained in her oral remarks, "Korinna exhibits great luster and smooth hand throughout her fleece on a well balanced, solid frame". Korinna is the daughter of GLR Kokolatte and GLR Rastamon. Kokolatte was the 2012 AOBA Nationals Grey Female Color Champion and the 2012 Reserve Grey Female Champion at MAPACA. GLR Rastamon is an extremely dense true black Great Lakes herdsire with a biopsy follicle density of 68 and has been named Futurity Herdsire of the Year. Korinna has a strong pedigree with colored genetics from both sides of her lineage, with great potential for gray offspring. Even at a young age she was showing good lock, density and luster and has that deep true black color like her father. Korinna's excellent fiber characteristics and solid conformation make her a great addition to the Pines Edge foundation herd. She has competed in the largest and most prestigious shows and has grown into a beautiful, true to phenotype, Suri show stopper winning as the Res Black Female Color Champion behind the AOA and MAPACA Judge's Choice black female. Korinna's 2017 model, Cinch, was named the 2019, AOA National Black Male Champion. Her 2019 daughter, Larkspur, sired by Chaparral should do well in the 2020 shows. Korinna is bred to Uproar for her 2020 cria. Uproar was twice National Supreme Champion and we can't wait to show this one.

Description

CHAMPION, 2019 AOA National Show. CINCH is deep, true black and he has strong black and gray genetics in his pedigree. His dam, Korinna, a GLR Rastamon daughter, was Res Champion at MAPACA, Futurity and GWAS and her dam Kokolatte is a National Gray Champion. Add Goldstar's Vader on the top and you have Accoyo genetics including Goldstar, Rockstar and Jackpot. Cinch is exhibiting the same beautiful lock style as his multiple champion half brother, Uproar, with high luster and fineness. His micron, at 16 months, remains at 19! Cinch has excellent wave and twist lock structure, consistent across his blanket with good density. Unfortunately, Cinch has experienced some tender fleece that has shortened his show career. Come see him and you'll be amazed. Don't let this one get away.
