Killian of Wicklow Glen

HuacayaMaleLight Rose Grey
AOA# 30613225DOB: 6/18/200618 yrs
Killian’s genetics are rich with color. His sire, Premier’s Rubio is medium rose grey coming from renowned names as Cloud 9 Comet, Peruvian Don Julio, Peruvian Black Legend and Peruvian Bueno. Rubio's dam is also a full sister to Premier's Absolute. Killian's dam, Moon Shadow is true black from Bolivian lines that include Black Cloud of Bolivia. His show record is impeccable. His fiber stats are complete and impressively consistent. Killian's conformation is spot on and solid. And the character to his 8th fleece is still consistent! We couldn't be happier regarding our choice to add Killian's genetics to our herd. He has certainly left his mark in our herd over the last several years, each offspring has had incredible fleece with consistent crimp, uniformity, and fineness. 50% gray offspring!

Dam: Jamuna

Gorgeous Modern Dark Gray!

Jamuna

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Silver Grey
AOA# 31681698DOB: 6/26/200915 yrs
What a beautiful female! Jamuna was a pleasant surprise color-wise from a light fawn dam and a medium brown sire. Jamuna is a petite female on a well balanced frame. Her fleece has a favorite with hand-spinners, one of the first to be snatched up after shearing due to it's unique color! It has nicely defined high amplitude, low frequency crimp that holds together with consistency across the blanket. Jamuna is maintaining her fine fleece as she ages. Jamuna has proven herself to be a very attentive mother with her offspring. Bred to our rose gray male, Foxy's Fortune, the result was a striking silver male, Jamuna's Stoney from MaRS. Check out his separate listing for more information. Her second cria is a beautiful rose gray/fawn female, Flora, sired by Killian born on 6/2/16. She was re-bred to Killian for 2017 and the resulting cria is a handsome light fawn male. Basically, Jamuna is one of those females that can throw a variety of colors! Jamuna comes with a complimentary breeding to any of the Alpacas from MaRS herdsires.

APPALOOSA

Wahoo! from MaRS

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige, Medium Fawn, Dark Fawn
AOA# 35566632DOB: 7/10/20186 yrs
THIS GUY IS SO COOL! WAHOO! from MaRS is everything you could want when adding appaloosa genetics to your herd. There's no compromising quality with this guy! INCREDIBLE CHARACTER TO HIS FLEECE EXCEPTIONAL STAPLE LENGTH EXTREME FINENESS UNIFORMITY Check out his fiber stats, they certainly don't disappoint! He was entered into the spring 2020 shows, but this thing called COVID-19 happened. His cria fleece did very well at our local events. Wahoo's first progeny are on the ground and we're seeing spots, lots of spots! He was bred to seven white/beige females on our farm and all seven delivered appaloosa crias. What a great start! Keep your eyes on this guy! We are limiting the number of outside breedings to Wahoo. We have several females that are currently bred to him that are available or will be in the near future.

Description

So stinkin' cute! Flora is quick to capture the eye of our farm visitors. She offers much to the breeder that wants to add to their gray genetics without compromising on fleece quality. With limited Bolivian genetics available in our US herd, Flora offers diversification. Flora has a solid structure on a petite frame. She is well covered in consistent fleece, with well defined character, brightness, and checks the box on fineness too. Her histogram results do not disappoint! Flora is a part of our foundation herd. She was bred to Highpoint for her first cria and the result was a very robust fawn female! Flora has already proven herself to be a wonderful mom, nothing to complain about! Recently bred to our appaloosa male, Wahoo from MaRS, we're hoping for spots. Fingers crossed for a harlequin appy cria!
