Hummingbird is as tenacious as her name implies. Always curious, always at the front of the pack and ready to display her antics as if it were a competition! But Birdie's personality is only the tip of the iceberg. The daughter of Cinderella Moment, a Highland Chieftain girl, and sired by the absolutely outstanding GGF Aslan Son of Matrix, Birdie is the product of an incredible match. Cinderella Moment has been the perfect Disney Princess and has beautiful, consistent fiber as you would expect from a Chieftain girl. Birdie is the only daughter of Aslan, who carried Matrix's outstanding characteristics and had to be the softest alpaca we had ever felt. You can see her fiber shining across the pasture with incredible definition dripping all the way down to her toes. It is so dense that we sheared almost a pound of cria tips off her beautiful frame! And a beautiful frame it is. She is absolutely conformationally sound. Birdie was good sized, over 18 lbs., at birth with gorgeous straight legs and an elegant, boxy conformation. At the Buckeye Show Birdie was awarded 2nd of 10 including some huge farm names by alpaca fiber expert Wini Lebrecque who stated she wants to see her back next year.
