Eaton’s father is none other than the legendary Snowmass Elite Legend, Futurity Light Herdshire of the Year 3X and Futurity Light Herdshire Reserve 3X . He is the most distinguished White Huacaya Stud standing in the world. His mother is CCNF Star Sapphire who has some great genetics from her renowned father Snowmass Royal Rose. He is packed with incredible genetics. He was the first animal we ever showed as a yearling. Competing in a white class with 14 males wasn’t exactly how we wanted to start out but he held his own placing 4th. He was beaten by two very well-known CCNF males, Centurion and Defiance. He’s gone on to sire several crias for us including our latest girl. We have another Elite Legend son and have decided to sell him. He’s a powerful animal with a magnificent frame. He rules the field (not in a bad way) and the other boys know who the boss is.

Colored Genetics Galore

Cloud Hollow's Amanda

HuacayaBred (Female)Light Brown
AOA# 32686661DOB: 7/29/201311 yrs
This girl has terrific color genetics in her background. She is the daughter of another one our females AAR Tessasita. Her father is Snowmass XXXtremely Golden the son of Snowmass XXXtreme one of the most XXXtreme colored studs to grace the alpaca breeding world. She had her first cria in the fall of 2016. This was a female named Sunshine Amy who has been listed for sale separately. We choose to breed her to our multi-Champion / Judges Choice winner, CCNF Templar for an early autumn arrival. She is doing well and we expect the new cria in about 4 weeks. The combination of genetics with Snowmass Elite Legend and XXXtreme should be something spectacular. Depending on the outcome of this year’s cria, we suggest repeating the breeding to Templar after delivery in the coming weeks. **UPDATE** Amanda had a fawn colored girl on the 24th of September 2017. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that she’s still carrying fineness throughout her blanket for her age. I love the color of her fleece and had been saving it to combine with her previous shearings. This spring I had this spun into a really nice yarn that has such a soft handle and the color is just so rich. She has a lot going on so don’t let the price fool you. She’s another bargain.

Description

Amy is being sold as a pet/fiber animal. She has an extremely fine and soft fleece. For some reason she hasn’t grown much bigger than a 3 or 4 month old alpaca. She continues to put on weight but at a year she is not going to be a big alpaca. The vet has seen her on several occasions and there is nothing wrong (no dwarfism) but she is going to be a miniature alpaca if such a thing exists. She eats fine and is very friendly.
