Dauntless has all you could ask for in a herdsire; excellent conformation, substance of bone, fine bright white fleece with 5" staple length with beautiful crimp all the way to the tip with consistency throughout his blanket. We've been remiss in showing him but plan to change that this fall. Dauntless has thrown nothing but beautiful female cria's for us in 2017, all with his amazing fleece characteristics and conformation. What more could a breeder ask for!

APPLE BLOSSOM ROYALE

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 32819991DOB: 8/16/201410 yrs
Apple's 2020 female cria hit the ground running on 5-5-2020. She is an beautiful light fawn with fiber characteristics that are sure to make her a show stopper. Out of Three Points Bearcat this female cria has an amazing phenotype and her genetics are as good as you could ask for. She's sure to become a powerhouse foundation female for someone's farm. Apple has rare Accoyo genes behind her through her dam, Emily Rose - Accoyo Zeus, a Camilio son. She also boasts a nice pedigree with Heather’s Acre Accoyo Hero, Caligula, El Nino, Vengador, Accoyo Alexander and Accoyo The Last Don. Just as important are the females - Sunipani, Astillero, Pucara, Accoyo Candy, Accoyo Starburst and his blue ribbon mom, Miss Peruvian Accoyo Morning Star. Apples sire, Snowmass Royal Destiny XX is a rare Matrix offspring out of a dam from Snowmass's Royal line. This is Snowmass's top line for producing lasting fineness. Follow his lineage and you'll see it in every generation! Not only is Destiny a rare breeding age Matrix male, but you won't find many pairings of the Matrix/Quechua line with XXXtreme so this is a rare opportunity to improve your herd in all colors. Unfortunately Legacy, Hemingway, Quechua and Cahuide have recently passed away so these elite genes are becoming even harder to come by.

Description

Easter Lilly Love, or ELL as I like to call her, had a rough start. We had sheared Easter morning and I went to check on one of the other expectant moms only to fine Apple had delivered Lilly a week early at 8:00 PM. Lilly weighed in at 14 lbs and technically wasn't a preemie but she was unable to stand and or nurse. We had to milk Apple and bottle fed her for the first 2 days until she had the strength to stand on her own. On day 3 I found out she had started nursing in secret when I wasn't around which was a big relief. On day 4 we discovered her urethra had closed and she was unable to urinate. Thanks to our amazing vets they had her all fixed up in no time and ELL has thrived ever since. When the vet was performing the surgery we became that ELL was not going to be able to be bred because she's also a hermaphrodite. Seems ELL had a twin brother in utero that died ad she absorbed his chromosomes. Lilly is quite a inquisitive little girl and loves to be in the middle of everything going on. She's inherited her fleece characteristics from a long line of great's including: Snowmass Royal Destiny, Snowmass Matrix, Snowmass XXXTreme, 6Peruvian Accoyo Elete, 4Peruvian Legacy, Bueno, Hemingway, Caligula, El Nino, PPeruvian Victor and Accoyo Express to name just a few.
