Description

I watched as this baby was born. Even before she was completely delivered, I knew we had one special alpaca. The color on this girl has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Her fleece has a multitude of different colors across the blanket and down the lock. Spots are likely in many places. The new growth appears to be much darker than the ends. We may not have an accurate color until shearing. Spicey has also decided that 1 mother is not enough. She has nurses on Swirl who hasn't had a cria in years. And Swirl has come into milk for her and seems happy to let her nurse. Her growth matches her never-ending appetite. Birth weight 19lbs 8oz. Weight at 2 months: 47lbs. She's gonna be a big girl.
