Description

This is Kodiak of Misty Morning. What a stunning alpaca!! His fiber is long, lustrous, crimpy and just a dream for the spinner or knitter. Kodiak is a gelding - only because he suffer an injury to his spine at a young age. He has a bit of a waddle in his step, but no long term health issues as a result. Being gelded helps to ensure his fiber quality stays peak for many years to come. Kodiak is aptly named due to the full face and his long fleece. He does resemble a big black bear. Kodiak is part of our "Buy and Board" program. This program allows us to sell alpacas for less, knowing they will remain at Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm.
