In 2009, Enlightenment won the AOBA Reserve Color Championship at 54 months just after taking a Championship at the Kentucky Classic Show. Enlightenment has produced a multitude of champion offspring in all colors, starting with his 2nd cria, Snowmass Enlightened - a rose grey 12X Champion who has gone on to be a great herdsire in his own right.
