HE'S DONE IT AGAIN! "GET OF SIRE" Spring Bling 2010. Three time "Get of Sire" winner in 2009! An El Nino son and Caligula Grandson, Galileo is the wind beneath our wings here at Sabamba Alpaca Ranch. This famous blood line is known for adding density unlike any other (our one month old cria sheared nearly 1# of fiber!). Next to density we absolutely love the exemplary confirmation which he consistantly reproduces in his cria already, he has produced multiple champion and reserve banner winning offspring. If your breeding program need density...Galileo will get the job done! This may be the final year for breeding for this male whose offspring consistently win in the show ring. We are expecting 3 Galileo cria in 2018 an hope to breed most of our whites to him for 2019. We are thrilled at the longevity of his superior finess. His breeding career has been very busy but his fiber is staying in the range of the true champion that he is and his offspring continue to be.

Description

Twinkles is a very special alpaca here at Sabamba Alpaca Ranch. Born 1 month premature at 9#'s she is a great survival story. Determined to live she took a bottle so she and I embarked on the long journey of a bottle fed alpaca. 6 Months of bottles!!!! She was born premature because her dame was older and struggling to hold her weight through the pregnancy. She is the only alpaca who has ever been in our house. This is not recommended by us at all but it was necessary for her survival. We are very proud of the fact that were able to save her. She is now 3 years old and serves as a superior ambassador for alpacas and our ranch. Because she was hand raised by me she is very easy going around visitors and allows people to touch her more than most alpacas would do. She still has her limits but I can take her with me to do educational seminars and to visit the elderly. It was a lot of work to keep her going but I think every farm should have a little Twinkle for there farm as a PR tool. She has been fully integrated into the herd and is a very well adjusted female both in the barn or with our visitors. Twinkles is not for sale - Who could sell there own daughter????? Need to decide if I should breed her????
