Miramonte of PVA

SuriOpen (Female)Light Brown
AOA# 806085DOB: 6/22/200321 yrs
Miramonte of PVA has been a reliable producer for Park View Alpacas since 2005. Her sire, PVA Mahogany Prince, is one of our finest males that we've ever produced--and he in his turn has passed along his reputation as well as his genes. Her dam, DPA Minnie, was one of our best-ever females--her legacy can be seen in the shimmering luster inherited and passed along by her offspring. Miramonte's 2006, offspring Mikimoto of PVA received a Color Champion at the 2008 AOBA Nationals also a Color Champion at the 2008 GWAS. Mirante of PVA, Mirmonte's 2007 cria, received a Color Champion at the 2009 CABA Classic and also a Reserve at the 2010 AOBA Nationals. Both Mirante and Mikimoto were both sired by Diamonte of PVA. Another Color Champion offspring of Miramonte is Balboa's Rogue, sired by 17 time Color Champion, MacGyver's Balboa. Miramonte is a quiet tempered female. She loves to eat treats--especially apples and pears, but she has developed a taste for raisins! She is motherly and excellent with her crias, and trusting enough of us humans to smile upon us as we work with her cria.

Description

At first glance you will be mesmerized by Maharajah's regal presence. He is a large male with a solid strong conformation with excellent bone substance and a fantastic head. Upon closer examination and checking out this stud, you will notice the high degree of luster, extreme density, amazing coverage, excellent bite and wonderful fineness. You would be hard pressed to find a flaw with this male. Maharajah's long drapey locks are consistent and ropey. He has been shown in dark classes, he is somewhere between a dark brown and a bay black, closest to mahogany if that was an ARI color. His pedigree is just as amazing as he is! His sire is MacGyvers Balboa, During the 2006/2007 show season alone, Balboa won 16 AOBA Certified Halter Class CHAMPIONSHIPS, as well as 20 First Place Halter Class Blue Ribbons under 10 DIFFERENT JUDGES, and ALL before he was 22 months old!! On May 2007 (22 mos of age) MacGyver's Balboa was a WORLD RECORD HOLDER for the most AOBA Halter Class COLOR CHAMPIONSHIPS in history...EVER! Then in May 2008 Balboa received his 17th championship—in Fleece at the 2008 AOBA National Fleece Show—along with the very prestigious Judges Choice and Best Lock Awards (both awards were out of all colors!)
