Congratulations to Shari and Donna Hollinger who purchased Morning Star's Don Diego who will be going to Cascade Rose Alpacas in Washington. Diego's lineage of PPeruvian Pluro, Danko, grandsire Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol (6x Grand Color Champ) and Sire Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud 2005 AOBA Silver Nat'l Grand Champion are enough reason to want him in your breeding program! Diego's dam is a pretty black girl with silver throughout her body. INCREDIBLE DENSITY AND LASTING FINENESS IN THIS BOY 2015 Histogram - AFD 20.5; SD 4.4; CV 21.2; %>30 3.3; CF 96.3; still this fineness at 9 years of age for grey is amazing! His biopsy follicle test is even more impressive! Density - 62.8/mm with a Secondary:Primary fiber ratio of 13.1:1. Only 3 grey alpacas have ever tested higher in density and no grey alpacas have a higher S:P ratio (in fact, only 7 alpacas in ANY color have a higher S:P ratio - including white!). You'll have trouble finding a grey to put up a combination of those kinds of numbers anywhere! Diego has many cria on the ground & every one of them is lovely. He is clearly passing on his amazing fineness to his cria. LASTING FINENESS RUNS IN HIS BLOOD: Cria Histograms: Jacob at age 2 - 16.7 AFD; Joshua at age 3 - 16.4 AFD; Levi at age 2 - 20.1 AFD; Baratheon – 15.3 AFD; Ophelia – 15.6 AFD; Antoinette – 17.98 AFD; Lazarus – 18.4 AFD Relatives' Histograms: Diamond (Mom) at age 12 - 23.00 AFD; Black Pearle (Maternal Sister) at age 5 - 17.52 AFD; Angel (Maternal Sister) at age 7 - 21.89 AFD Diego's string of blues began in '07 with a rave review from Judge Wade Gease's , "This young man had a presence as soon as he entered the ring...his feet glided across the grass, his toes pointed straight ahead...he's consistent throughout...good density and wonderful fineness...beautiful conformation". That was just the beginning followed by Wade praising him again at AlpacaMania for his "exceptional conformation, extreme fineness, beautiful crimp and consistent fiber character". He continued to stock pile blues and more at every show and fiber exhibition we had him in until he began breeding. Diego has a sweet personality, isn't skittish and comes right to us or visitors. His fiber is exceptional and butter fine, his micron stats have always been great for a light animal let alone his coloring! They rank right alongside with some of the best in the nation! His fineness, luster, excellent dense coverage, beautiful typey head and strong bone structure will add great qualities to any herd. His conformation and proud presence was apparent since he was born and all the judge's comments confirm it. Now with so many cria on the ground it is great to see that he passes his fiber qualities on to his offspring and he is making more all the time! This is your opportunity to add Diego's beautiful DSG coloring to your herd not to mention his sweet personality, incredible fineness and his impressive genetics.

Superb Mother with Ample Milk

FRA ROSITA DEL SOL - SOLD

AOA# 1054262DOB: 5/14/200420 yrs
Rosita is the daughter of Rayo del Sol and the granddaughter of Danko. She has been in our foundation herd and is a superb mother, providing ample milk to her crias, and the crias gain plenty of weight. She has ease at birthing and breeds easily. Rosita has given us three crias over the last three years we have owned her. We have an exceptional three-year-old dark brown female with a typey head and showy body. The following year we got a silver-grey male cria who was purchased before he was a year. Rosita also had a dark rusty brown cria with black points that sold as a juvenile. Wow, so much color out of this pretty beige girl. Rosita's grey son, out of Aladdin of KPR, was sold "as a prospective herdsire to a California ranch." It is evident that Aladdin has the ability to stamp his crias with those positive traits of fiber and conformation that won him the Blue in a Level 5 show among many other shows. Her 2018 MRG daughter out of Estates Silver Titan recently won a Blue Ribbon and Grey Reserve Color Champion at the 2019 Gold Country Gathering. Other Offspring: On 7/19/06, Rosita had FRA ROSARIO DEL SOL, a LF male sired by Crescent Moon's Kryptonite. Rosario del Sol won a Blue ribbon at the 2008 GWAS show. On 7/2/08, Rosita gave us SPANISH EYES DEL SOL, a lovely DB female sired by Aladdin of KPR. Spanish Eyes del Sol ribboned at the 2009 Alpaca Western Extravaganza. In 2011, Rosita gave birth to a handsome fawn male. On 10/20/12, Rosita had ESTATES HEAVENLY ROSELINI, a pretty LRG female sired by our Silverado's Peruvian Silver Fox. On 11/23/13, Rosita gave birth to ESTATES MASKED HARLEQUIN, an adorable MRG female (weighing 18 lbs.) sired by our Chief Grey Feather, known for his ideal fineness and royal lineage. On 4/29/15, Rosita gave us ESTATES MAGIC ROSETTA STONE, a lovely MRG female sired by our NS Magic Flight. Rosetta Stone won many 2nd Place awards during the 2018 show season. On 9/7/16, Rosita had ESTATES ROSARIO, a pretty MRG female sired by our Morning Star's Don Diego. On 11/19/18, Rosita presented us with ESTATES ROSITA DEL SOL BONITA, a beautiful MRG female sired by Estates Silver Titan. Bonita won 1st Place at the 2019 Gold Country Gathering. On 6/20/21, Rosita gave us ESTATES TITAN'S DEL SOL RIATA, a lovely dark brown female sired by Estates Silver Titan.
