Proudly co-owned with Gray Alpaca Company and Faraway Farm. Orlando is back at Gray Alpaca Company, and his fall breeding fee is $3,500. At the October Empire Extravaganza in Syracuse, NY, his offspring won two CHAMPIONSHIPS, including Gray Championship in fleece, and a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP, along with 4 Blue Ribbons. He continues to stamp out high quality crias. News! ORLANDO HAS JUST BEEN NAMED HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013, FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW! This award is based on the number of points accrued by winning offspring at MAPACA, to date the largest show in 2013. Here is the new standard for grey! Orlando stands above the rest with his consistent, dense architecture from his tail to his topknot. The judges have raved about this male from the time he hit the show circuit, and his offspring are now following in his footsteps with multiple Championships and Reserve Championships. When bred to grey or black his cria's colors have been 100% grey or true black with the exception of one which was bay black. He has also shown the ability to throw grey out of fawn as we have seen many cria like this from this color pairing. Orlando's stud fee is $5,000, with generous discounts for drive by breedings. For details please contact Nancy at [email protected] or Jeff at [email protected]. Full disclosure always. Offspring Show Wins Update: Orlando offspring were first shown in 2008, and to date they have won over 80 Color Championships/ Reserve Championships, and over 160 Blue Ribbons! Description

Stevie was just a near miss for our Herdsire row. He was typically in the money at the shows, but with several other gray boys to promote and prove, he just hasn't got his turn yet. He has quite possibly the best phenotype on the farm and gets the "Oh, who is that boy?" from almost every visitor to the farm. He has tremendous coverage, staple length, and massive bone structure. But he does have a broader crimp and micron than we like to use; but not by much. We think this boy could be working at many farms and making improvements to many a gray female. He is a gray from two gray champions and with champion siblings. Someone needs to give this boy a shot!
