2AF Peruvian Zeus' first crop of offspring are here and we are delighted. He has made every color in the spectrum. Grey, Black, Brown, Fawn and White in 6 total offspring in 2015. Not to mention the first offspring to hit the show ring in his first show received 1st Place, Color Champion and went on to Judges Choice in BROWN! 2nd offspring and received 1st Place, Color Champion and went on to Judges Choice in White! We're needless to say "a little excited!" UPDATE 5/1/17: All told to date, in Zeus' 9 offspring they have racked up 27 blue ribbons, 16 color championships, 7 reserve color championships, 5 Judges Choice awards and the 2017 AOA Supreme Champion! Jaxon debuted in the show ring this past spring and he did not disappoint, pulling down multiple blue ribbons and champion banners at a very young age! Jaxon has beautiful true black fleece, with lots of crimp, bundling, density, buttery softness and consistency. In addition, Jaxon has a gorgeous head and a nice boxy frame that tops excellent conformation. Jaxon is a Jacob Black son, a 19 time halter champion black herdsire and CLOSED TO OUTSIDE BREEDINGS. Jacob Black has had stellar results in his offspring in terms of show ring excellence and reproductive traits, and it seems Jaxon has those qualities as well. We are excited to have him here at West Penn and look to offer these genetics to others looking for that perfect True Black male!

Ariat has held her fleece characteristics with her age and also passes her qualities along to her cria. She has a gentle personality and is easy to handle and also a great mother. With her color genotype being Ee aa we chose to breed her to our multiple champion true black hersire, Irish meadow jaxon . With Jaxons color genotype being EE aa a dark cria should be expected.
