Aussie Maku

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30672093DOB: 9/13/200816 yrs
We knew it! The 1st daughter sired by Aussie Maku received JUDGES CHOICE at the 2014 Empire as well as the fawn fleece color championship. She also was awarded Fawn Reserve Color Champion at 7 months of age at the 2014 GWAS where over 800 alpacas were shown in extremely tough classes. (Shantilly is now owned by Christine and David Houseworth of Cabin View Alpacas.) Maku is one of a kind and we knew that his offspring would be the same. Flawless conformation and dense, dense fleece that is very uniform. We have bred him to females of color. He made grey!!! We bred Maku to Silver Spirit and we got a lovely classic rose grey female with a fleece that feels like a dream. This is one serious male! Other offspring owned by Virginia Breeze and also K-Ran Alpacas have received Judge’s Choice banners in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Maku is not a common household name but his family tree is spectacular from the back to the front. We're thrilled to have this male on our stud row! Co-owned with Aussie Acres Alpacas

Lancaster's Peruvian Angelica

HuacayaOpen (Female)Beige
AOA# 30387386DOB: 6/22/200618 yrs
Angelica is a farm favorite. She is a very cool, mellow chick with a great sense of amusement plus she's an amazing mother. Angelica is a light female yet if you want to breed for color, she throws much darker that her color pallet. When bred to Aussie Maku she produced, "Greenback Boogie", "Take a Look at My Girlfriend" and lastly "Autumn's Kiss". Angelica has been bred to our Champion Jumanji son, Mission Accomplished, for her 2020 cria. This should be one amazing paring!

Herdsire of the Year!

MFLA Mission Accomplished

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 32830767DOB: 8/30/201410 yrs
Mission Accomplished just keeps getting better and better as is evidenced by his class standings, championships, progeny and his 2021 Herdsire of the Year award from the Futurity (small farm division). He has truly Accomplished his Mission! At the 2015 Futurity, the most competitive show in the country, Mission Accomplished did himself proud by standing in line for his ribbon among the industry’s top competitors – and he was the youngest in his large juvenile class of fawns. Beautiful phenotype and fleece that is bright, crimpy, fine and uniform and it is all packed on tightly on his well developed and strong frame. Sired by multiple champion producing and winning Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji and out of LMFI Peruvian Delissa, a beautiful show girl in her day he is the total package. His progeny have done beautifully in the show ring as well. Mission is now proudly co-owed with Ebfort Alpacas and is standing stud at that farm in Chromo, Colorado. Contact either farm for the opportunity to grab breedings.

Description

I adore this female. At just a few days over six months of age she strutted her stuff into the show ring at the Futurity and she nailed it! Taking second, Amanda VandenBosch said amazing things about this little girl including the incredible softness of her fleece (plus staple length, plus density, plus, plus plus) atop a perfectly conformed frame. All grown up, we've made the difficult decision to remove her from the breeding business. She is still a gorgeous fiber maker and would grace such a herd. Take a Look at My Girlfriend. Besides, how many alpacas come with a theme song?
