We are proud to own and open up this incredible herdsire for a limited number of breedings. Quixotic’s dam, Starry Night’s Quetzal, was purchased at the prestigious 2008 All American Alpaca Futurity. To say that this dam is impressive is an understatement. She was a gorgeous dark silver grey female with incredible fleece character and rare density. Quixotic’s dam was bred to Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah the first year and the result was the famous multiple champion A & A and MFI Quatrain purchased by Coffee Pot, Whistler’s Glen, Applewood Farm and Tangled Oaks at the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction. The second year she was bred Jeremiah’s paternal brother MFI Peruvian Formula 1, co-owned by Magical Farms and Flying Pony Alpacas and the result was A and A & MFI Quixotic!! Quixotic is phenotypically gorgeous and his fleece is outstanding. As a very young juvenile his fleece won First Place and Grey Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show…an amazing accomplishment for a juvenile grey fleece. Quixotic's crias hit the ground for us starting in 2015 and we have been thrilled at what he is adding to our program here! Several of his offspring have been out and about in the showring and have earned top awards at several highly competitive shows, earning both champions and Judges’ Choice awards. Cloverleaf Alpacas Man of Steel is just one example of the quality we are seeing in Quixotic’s offspring and he is a true standout in the greys, earning top awards at every show he is in! Quixotic's crias have continued to wow and impress even the most discriminating buyers and breeders...and judges! His crias are outstandings!

Radiance's Riley

HuacayaBred (Female)Light Brown
AOA# 32340242DOB: 8/13/201113 yrs
Riley is a beautiful light brown girl with fine and high frequency fleece that is just radiant. Her cria have been wonderful and in colors from white to true black. This is a valuable foundation female that is co-owned with Kendall Creek Farms. Riley has just produced another beautiful female from her breeding to the multiple champion 5C's Captain Midnight. She is a dark fawn beauty with a very bright and fine fleece. So, now Riley has proven she can produce big hits in three major color groups! For her next trick, let's see what she does with 17 time Champion KCF Isidoro. Izzy is producing cria in colors ranging from gray to white and most everything in between. The common theme has been dense fine fleeces with tons of structure and bundling. regardless of color, that's what we're looking for. If you are looking to shortcut your way to an Izzy cria AND score an incredible production female at the same time, Riley is your girl. For a very limited time we are offering Riley bred to KCF Isidoro. Call for current price.

Description

Check the fantastic champions in Ruger's lineage. This beautiful true black male is coming on stronger as he matures. His third fleece is impressive. No white fibers, beautiful structure, great density , uniformity and staple length. All of this should come as no surprise given the genetics behind this male. His sire, Quixotic is a renowned gray male that has produced numerous champions. Ruger's dam, Radiance's Riley, produced three cria for us before she was sold. All have exhibited bright fine fleece and perfect conformation. I guess what we are saying here is that with these very uniform and desirable characteristics from both sides of the family, we have every right to expect that Ruger will pass similar features on in his offspring. See the photo of Ruger's first cria. Bred to a white female he has produced this beautiful black male. The fleece is remarkably fine and dense. Since both farms have several females from the Quixotic line, we simply won't use Ruger as he deserves to be used. We would love to see him used to his potential.
