Grand River Columbo

HuacayaMaleWhite, Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 31028783DOB: 10/5/200717 yrs
Grand River Columbo is a gorgeous son of Rincon Cloud. We purchased him from Whistler's Glen and Coffee Pot farms in Ohio to bring some rare gray genetics to our farm and the Midwest. He has put some stunning cria on the ground for those two farms as well as their customers. His fleece is holding the crimp structure very well for a breeding male. It is quite consistent throughout his entire frame. His fineness is incredible and he is dense, dense, dense. Really a well rounded alpaca in a gray fleece. His disposition is wonderful and his head is beautiful. Ricon Cloud brings Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol, and Danko to the genetic mix as well as an incredible female in Camana's Snowy River. In addition to Rincon Cloud, Columbo's dam brings Dark Shaddow. These are highly sought after, impressive genetics. Any farm with a gray program should be giving Columbo serious consideration. Serious breeders know the Cloud line and understand it's value in breeding for gray. We brought him home and Jim Shaw, Barb Bernardi and Bruce Bernardi of Prairie Rose Alpacas were impressed enough to purchase half interest in him! Come take a look at him. You really need to see his fleece! He has thrown grey from brown and black dams. Columbo kids are doing well in the ring for us as well as customers who have bred to Columbo. Judges have commended his cria for excellent coverage from ears to toes, bright fleece and excellent handle. We are just in LOVE with our Columbo son Spittin Image! He is a complete package and is showing well for us. Keep and eye on him! Another gray offspring from Columbo! She is a gorgeous, robust female out of a white dam! Proudly co-owned with Prairie Rose Alpacas.

RR Rose Pilar

HuacayaOpen (Female)Bay Black
AOA# 31620116DOB: 7/15/201014 yrs
RR Rose Pilar is a gorgeous black female out of Aussie Guns-N-Roses but take a look at the bottom of her ARI! Equally impressive is her dam Snowmass Casanova's Myst! This is a powerhouse of genetics. Pilar had a very impressive show career taking 2 Championships and 7 blue ribbons. She is of good size with excellent bone and fine fleece with good organization. Pilar has proven herself to be an excellent mother and a producer of gray when bred to gray. She gave us a stunning little male(Spittin Image) out of our Columbo. This dude has it going on! Bred to Jeremiah's Quatrain she delivered a gorgeous little boy we named Dillinger. Pilar has been bred to E Pluribus Unum (Money)! Hoping for a beautiful black or maybe even gray offspring. Pilar delivered a lovely little male from her pairing with Money. He is fawn in color with very fine fleece.

Description

Spitting Image! We LOVE this guy. He is out of our own Grand River Columbo and we couldn't be happier. He is classic tuxedo and gorgeous! His fleece is very fine with excellent crimp structure. He has herdsire written all over him and has the attitude to back it up. From day 1 he was a spitter every time you put your hands on him. It was quite comical. He has outgrown that and is easy to handle. He halter trained very easy and walks proudly into the show ring. His pedigree is top notch! Columbo brings Rincon Cloud, Rayo Del Sol, Danko and Dark Shaddow to his ARI. His mom's side though is equally impressive with Aussie Guns - N - Roses as his Grandsire, Snowmass Cassanova's Myst and Snowmass Peruvian Casanova contributing. Lots of grey and color deeply imbedded. He has shown well for us. Judges always comment on his extreme fineness and handle of his fleece. He wrapped up his show career with 3 first at the dual halter shows and walking fleece in Iowa. He is now ready to work as a herdsire! Spittin has been introduced to his first girl, Libby mother of our beautiful grey girl Liberty Belle, for his first breeding. We are anxiously waiting to see if it took. SALE PENDING!
