PATAGONIA'S THE SABLE
The Sable was one of the most striking crias born on the farm in 2006. He has the prototype head that is common of Neruda (El Vasco's sire) descendants. He is a well balanced boy with ample fiber coverage. His fleece is very fine and soft. He has both black and grey bloodlines and we are starting to see some graying of his fleece. Both his dam and sire are champions in the showring. His dam, Adriana was on our showstring in 2003 (Reserve Champion AOBA Nationals, Reserve Champion AWE 2003, 1st Alpacapalooza). His sire, El Vasco is an extremely fine-fleeced Neruda son who was on our showstring in 2004 (Champion IAO, Reserve Champion NAAS, 1st AWE, 1st MAPACA). El Vasco is one of the most fine and most dense (according to follicle testing) herdsires on our farm.

PATAGONIA'S ALETEA
Aletea's sire is Patagonia's The Sable (out of multi-champion parents - Patagonia’s El Vasco and Patagonia’s Adriana). He has both black and grey bloodlines and possesses the prototype head that is common of Neruda (El Vasco's sire) descendants.
Her maternal grandsire is the famous black Canadian herdsire Cava Guivir Zorro owned by Ruth Evelstad. Zorro is now retired from breeding, which makes this girl's genetics that much more valuable!

On 8/15/16, Aletea had a handsome light fawn male sired by Snowmass Pure Passion. Her son, Bluebonnet Hills Pure Devotion, won Reserve Champion Fawn Male and 2nd Place at the 2018 Houston Livestock Show
On 8/11/17, Aletea gave birth to a sweet white male sired by Estates Haiden.
In 2018, Aletea had a good-looking light fawn male.
On 7/9/19, Aletea gave us a pretty medium fawn female sired by Estates Legendary Picasso.
On 8/27/20, Aletea presented us with a handsome fawn male also sired by Estates Legendary Picasso.
