His Sire is our own Snowmass Andean Midnight a beautiful, compact, true black “silky soft” male with an outstanding pedigree for fineness. NEVERSUMMER'S CARIBOU BARBIE Caribou Barbie came to us from one of the long time ranches who bred for FINE fleece, Neversummer's Alpacas. She is the daughter of s 6X Champion and international Supreme Champion, Neversummer's Black Ice. (In the International Show System the "Supreme Champion" is comparable to AOBA's "Judges Choice"! Ice is packed with excellent black and gray genes from both sides of his pedigree. His dam is NeverSummer's Monsoon, an award-winning, silver gray, Silver Charm daughter. Her dam, NeverSummer's Winter Silk is a beautiful, snowy white, NeverSummer's Mobius daughter, whose fleece is ultra silky, long and bright. Winter Silk's dam and sire were both award winners in halter and fleece! Her paternal grandsire, Show Me The Money, won Color Champion at the 2005 GWAS Fleece Show - at 7 years of age!
