Vinson Massif's biopsy results are in! 60.5 follicles SQ MM, S/P ratio of 12.7:1 and a micron variation between primary and secondary fibers of 8.1 These results are from his biopsy conducted at three and half years of age. Vinson's first crias have arrived and they are dense with nice bone and crimpy fleece!!! He has been bred to white, fawn, brown, black and grey. He has consistently produced brown and black! Vinson Massif is a solid, compact male with great fleece, great balance and an easy going personality. His fleece is bright, fine and dense, and his crimp is consistent and uniform throughout his blanket and into his neck and legs. He has done great in the shows with his most recent shows commenting on his overall presence and solid bone structure---"he just screams stud" direct quote from the judge. Vinson's pedigree is strong on both sides. Vinson's sire, Lennox, needs no introduction and his dam, Rouge, has produced Color Champions in her own rite. Congratulations and thank you to David Demchak for his purchase of Patagonia's La Gianni! PATAGONIA'S LA GIANNI La Gianni is a lovely reddish brown with a white blaze. She is fine and dense, and a good producer. La Gianni was assessed as an A- by Amanda VandenBosch. Her sire is 4x champion Patagonia's Vinson Massif. Vinson's pedigree is strong on both sides of his family tree. Vinson's sire is our legendary 9x Champion, Patagonia's Lennox, who needs no introduction. His dam, Patagonia's Rouge has fantastic coverage, typey female with a great head. Rouge, has produced several Color Champions in her own right. La Gianni's dam, Patagonia's Adora, is a 2x Reserve Champion out of Patagonia Champion, Nishio. In 2007, Nishio was awarded the All-American Reserve Herdsire of the Year, in 2004 the All-American Herdsire of the Year, and in 2005 Nishio was the AOBA Get-of-Sire winner. Offspring: On 4/12/2016, La Gianni presented us with a lovely MB female sired by Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates. On 4/23/2017, La Gianni gave birth to a beautiful MB female sired by Estates Silver Titan. On 6/8/2018, La Gianni gave us a handsome light brown male sired by Snowmass Andean Midnight.
