Captain Jack Sparrow

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 1000320DOB: 7/13/200321 yrs
Captain Jack Sparrow is one of our signature herdsires. Captain Jack is a captivating fawn male with an elite fleece that is to die for. Shown three times as a juvenile; with three first place wins, a Color Championship, and a Reserve Color Championship to kick off his show career, this big boy was off to a great start. Captain Jack has left judges breathless, but certainly not speechless upon opening his fleece. Captain Jack is a Peruvian Dakotia son (Bueno) and from our exceptional fawn foundation female Peruvian Accent (Accoyo Leon). Dakotia is of course no longer available due to the unfortunate Land-O-Lakes feed poisoning incident. Captain Jack has everything that you are looking for in a herdsire – perfect conformation, tremendous fleece coverage, a soft handle with high frequency and high amplitude crimp, and a particularly dense fleece that is aging well. He is also throwing colors across the board; literally from white to black and gray. Captain Jack is Co-Owned with Peterson Creek Ranch.

KCF Peruvian Mistletoe

HuacayaBred (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 1244304DOB: 12/19/200519 yrs
Not only does this girl have all the goods phenotypically and genotypically, she has produced nothing but the goods with her award winning cria. Add to that one of the best dispositions on the farm and you have a highly desirable foundation female. Mistletoe just delivered her latest homerun, Midnight Moonlight, a female sired by our recent acquisition, LMFI Black Midnight. We liked the result so much that we repeated it again for 2016. Moonlight will be a fixture on our 2016 fall show string for sure. Can't wait for you to take a look at her.... UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 2016: CONGRATS to David and Julie Wysong or Quarry Critters Alpacas for their purchase of this wonderful foundation female!! Mistletoe will be moving to Littlestown, PA after she has her latest Black Midnight cria (due any minute) and is rebred to KCF Isidoro!! Thanks you david and Julie!!

Description

This is a pretty good way to get the bloodline of Captain Jack with a little Quetzal kicker thrown in. Mikado was a very worthy show boy and needs to be in the game at your farm. He is not used at Kendall Creek only because of Jack, but I think that may have been a mistake. I will let him work for free on your farm until we find out. Call me for details....
