Update: Sadly, Billabong recently passed, suddenly and unexpectedly. He was an incredible herdsire and we are very grateful for the offspring that we have **************************************************************** Wow! This guy is amazing and to top that off, he has produced many amazing cria! His offspring are taking the Pacific Northwest by storm after spending a couple of years there, and co-owners, Vickie and Ron Sutton of Wooley Beast Alpacas in Wyoming, are offering him at stud for the midwest and producing amazing cria there. And now Billabong joins us in California to work his magic here! 2014 HISTOGRAM AT 12 YEARS OLD! AFD 24.1; SD 4.2; CV 17.8%! This is what the Suttons say about him: "Here is a real head-turner! Billabong has shown in Multi and Grey classes with impressive results. If you are looking to add color to your program, along with amazing coverage, typey conformation, and a perfect head, this is the one! His pedigree is a virtual list of who's who, and Billabong exemplifies the results of quality breedings, as do his offspring! They carry his dense coverage, staple length and architecture, as well as strong bone. It shows in their impressive awards in the ring. Also important is his very gentle nature and friendly personality. Billabong is easy to handle, and is a joy to own." Take advantage now to enhance your breeding program and we will see you in the show ring! Billabong's cria have hit the ground with a bang, with incredible fleece, including a fleece champ! Billabong has thrown several appy cria, with the last three white females Billabong was bred to having appy cria! Billabong comes from star quality genetics. His grand-dam is Medium Rose Grey Hannahruh, who has consistently produced award winning cria - including the well known Painted Sky Apres Vous and champion Grey, Aussie Rockford. Billabong's former owners had this to say about him: "Billabong won 1st Place and Reserve Color Champion (at just 6mos+2days of age) in a multi class in his first show, the 2004 GWAS. Maggie Krieger put him into a Rose Grey class at the 2004 AOBA Nationals and awarded him a 1st Place there. At the 2005 GWAS he landed in multi again where Dr.Julio Sumar placed him 1st yet again. Billabong also helped us win a 4th Place in Breeder's Best Three and 3rd Place in Produce of Dam at GWAS in '05. While the judges can't seem to agree on what color Billabong actually is they do all agree on his quality. With a pedigree like his it's no surprise. He's a grandson of both Dom Lucillio (who sold at auction in 2004 for a then record price) and Peruvian Presidio (a Caligula son and 2nd Place 2004 AOBA Get of Sire). The important touch of rich color and robust nature come through his beautiful, grey, Chilean grandmother." RESERVE YOUR BREEDINGS: In California from November through April In Wyoming from May through October Some of his offspring

Full ownership in Orlando is now available. See Orlando in motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSagJk4leNs How many gray herdsires are out there who have produced offspring winning over 80 BANNERS, over 160 BLUE RIBBONS, and still producing CHAMPIONS? Orlando Cloud is a stunning male who has without a doubt helped boost the quality of gray huacayas to new heights. So often a male shines for a few years, and then is overtaken by higher quality. Not so with Orlando. In 2008 his offspring began winning top honors, and since then at almost every large show his offspring, and now grand kids and great grand kids, continue to bring home banners and blues. Gray Alpaca Co. recently had four Orlando offspring in a row, and this group is simply outstanding. We can't wait to see them in the show ring. At the October Empire Extravaganza in Syracuse, NY, his offspring won two CHAMPIONSHIPS, including Gray Championship in fleece, and a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP, along with 4 Blue Ribbons. He continues to stamp out high quality crias. Orlando's accomplishments are many, and he was named HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013, and 2014. This award is based on the number of points accrued by winning offspring at MAPACA, to date the largest show in 2013. Here is the new standard for gray! Orlando stands above the rest with his consistent, dense architecture from his tail to his topknot. The judges have raved about this male from the time he hit the show circuit, and his offspring are now following in his footsteps with multiple Championships and Reserve Championships. When bred to gray or black his cria's colors have been primarily gray, and he has also shown the ability to throw gray out of fawn. Orlando's stud fee is $5,000, with generous discounts for drive by breedings. For details please contact Nancy at [email protected] or Jeff at [email protected]. Offspring Show Wins Update: Orlando offspring were first shown in 2008, and to date they have won over 80 Color Championships/ Reserve Championships, and over 160 Blue Ribbons! Description

Penny is a lovely beige girl with a single dark spot on her side - likely a gift from her Amazing Harlequin dad, Billabong. Her mom is also a very interesting color - vicuna rose with multi-colored spots - possibly harlequin herself. Penelope color checked biege and was awarded a blue ribbon at her first show as a juvenile - in a tough class of 5 (it included a Red Granite entry). Excellent quality, correct conformation, and a sweet girl to have in your herd. I would breed her for color - as I am a grey breeder myself - She could easily have those harlequin genes ready for her next cria. Update: Penelope's 2017 histogram is nothing short of phenomenal with an AFD of just 20.4 with 3.9 SD at almost 8 years of age. For her 2019 cria, we've taken her to the incomparable Emerald Farms Orlando Cloud.
