HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 32191530DOB: 8/4/201113 yrs
A stunning jet black male, Marcus has the "show ring" look that catches judges' attention. His carriage and attitude speak volumes about his potency as a herd sire, as does his dominant true black lineage. He is beautiful, and he knows it, and makes sure you know it too. Marcus first cria, out of our full peruvian reserve champion Aardwolfs Peruvian Marissa, is more than we could hope for. Alpacalypse Ranch Smokin Ember is a beautiful true black male with the most amazing soft dense fleece! Ember took 2nd place at GWAS 2015, 2nd place at Fall Fest 2015, and 3rd place at National Western Stock show, confirming our belief in Marcus ability to throw awesome cria. UPDATE! Marcus second cria is an elegant, long legged, true black female. Her dam, WRH Jaquelline Du Pre is a bay black, so once again, Marcus shiny black color has proven dominant. Alpacalypse Ranch Meagan was sold before she was weaned. 2016; This year Marcus surprised us with different colors! Jaquelline gave us a bay black female, but two other dams gave us light fawns! They are beautiful, very crimpy, dense, and FINE. They also have Marcus carriage and attitude! They should do well in the show ring. Marcus is not for sale but is available as a herdsire.

Aardwolfs Peruvian Trinity

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
DOB: 8/31/200717 yrs
Trinity is a beautiful true black female with the most amazing eyes! When she arrived she very quickly took charge of our herd and watches everything. If I want to check the safety and status of my herd I just look to Trinity to see how she is behaving. If she is calm, there is no need to check any further. Trinity has produced some of our best fiber and show animals. Her daughter Aardwolfs Peruvian Marissa was a show stopper. Marissa has many ribbons, including a blue and color reserve in her short career. She is now producing ribbon winners of her own. Trinitys second daughter Columbine Ranch Gwendolyn was not shown but produced a beautiful light fawn male with tons of crimpy bright fleece and his dams classic gray "pattern" that often passes on gray cria. Marco Polo was named so because he was off and exploring just hours after his birth. He often squeezed between the gates and was found fearlessly wandering around the house. Gwendolyns second cria is a dark silver classic gray, confirming our belief that these lt fawn animals with the classic gray color pattern are indeed rose gray animals. Trinitys last cria, a 2016 light fawn girl by Columbine Ranch Marcus, is showing all the traits of her previous siblings, as well as her mothers take charge attitude. She has already sold. Trinity is no longer a breeder but still produces black fiber that can be harvested and used for production. She is still very much a "guardian of the herd" and notices everything around her before any of the others. .

Description

Clarisse was named for her beautiful face and head carriage. When she was born, she looked like the famous Clarisse from Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. Clarissa is classy, elegant and feminine to the max. She is the last cria born of our foundation Aardwolfs Peruvian Trinity line. She surprised us with her color, a beautiful Lt fawn, our first from her sire Columbine Ranch Marcus, who up until now, threw true black. Clarissa has very fine, very dense, very bundled fiber, typical from this line. She will undoubtedly follow her sisters examples with numerous show ribbons and excellent cria in the future. Both her older sisters have produced ribbon winning animals. See Aardwolfs Peruvian Marissa and Columbine Ranch Gwendolyn on this site. Clarisse sells with a breeding to our herd sires, based on her age and bloodlines.
