Nugget is now proven. His first cria was born on June 1, 2017. We were correct in anticipating him to throw his strong frame and head style, as well as density. Nugget also has a very gentle personality and is easy to work with. He has thrown a broad range of color, from dark brown, medium fawn and light fawn. At his final show appearance at the 2016 A-OK Blastoff he received a 1st place. The judge had very positive comments regarding his fiber, fine, well structured, exactly what you would want to see in a male of his age. Nugget received Reserve Color Champion at the 2015 A-OK Blastoff. The judge said he was a clear winner in his class. Strong frame, tracks perfectly, fine, well organized and consistent fleece! Three AOA shows - three first place ribbons. Nugget is an exceptional yearling. We were hoping for a repeat of his sire, multi-champion Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold, and he's living up to that challenge. His heritage brings some great bloodlines such as Augusto, Royal Gold and Axtion Jaxon. In his first show appearance he received a 1st place in halter as well as the youngest of the threesome that won Get of Sire for Tuscan Gold at the 2014 MOPACA show. He is straight, full coverage from nose to toes, his father's great head style and fleece that is to die for. Nugget was recently praised for his conformation and straight legs.
