Picabo, the Dam of champions! Sadly we lost an incredible matriarch to the alpaca industry on 2/19/14. This National Treasure had a huge influence on the North American Suri herd producing spectacular offspring throughout her lifetime. She gave us a true blessing and possibly her best offspring to date and was the epitome of a great mom to the end, greeting and nursing her new baby girl sired by Accoyo Kaden, born 2/19/14. We will truly miss this female with her wonderful personality! Even at her age, Picabo still had incredibly fine and dense fleece with a lovely handle and showing amazing luster! She was the high selling female at the 1999 AOBA National auction and has been a phenomenal producer. As a yearling she won the blue ribbon at the 1998 AOBA National show. She has produced champion after champion. What an amazing line up of kids she has produced.
