Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige
AOA# 847847DOB: 6/16/200321 yrs
2008 was the first time a single herdsire won both light and dark herdsire of the year at The Futurity in both classes in a single year. Jeremiah is Co-owned with Majestic Meadows and Flying Pony Alpacas. "The most advanced alpaca fleece I’ve seen anywhere in the world" ... these are words a famous international judge used to describe Jeremiah's bundling fleece, comments that have been echoed by other judges over the years. It’s those same comments that we have heard about many of his award winning offspring. Jeremiah himself has won numerous awards including 13 championships, Best Crimp, Herdsire of the Year and Reserve Herdsire of the Year SIX times (something never accomplished in our industry by any other male), Best Hand Awards and Judge's Choice under some of the best alpaca judges in our industry. Jeremiah's offspring have won over 150 championships. This is an extremely consistent line and we are proud to have Jericho, Jeremiah and now Jumanji in the pedigree of many of our award winning and producing alpacas here at Majestic Meadows Alpacas. Jeremiah’s offspring excel in all color categories from white to black and grey!

2019 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of Year!

A and A & MFI Quixotic

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 32166620DOB: 7/6/201014 yrs
We are proud to own and open up this incredible herdsire for a limited number of breedings. Quixotic’s dam, Starry Night’s Quetzal, was purchased at the prestigious 2008 All American Alpaca Futurity. To say that this dam is impressive is an understatement. She was a gorgeous dark silver grey female with incredible fleece character and rare density. Quixotic’s dam was bred to Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah the first year and the result was the famous multiple champion A & A and MFI Quatrain purchased by Coffee Pot, Whistler’s Glen, Applewood Farm and Tangled Oaks at the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction. The second year she was bred Jeremiah’s paternal brother MFI Peruvian Formula 1, co-owned by Magical Farms and Flying Pony Alpacas and the result was A and A & MFI Quixotic!! Quixotic is phenotypically gorgeous and his fleece is outstanding. As a very young juvenile his fleece won First Place and Grey Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show…an amazing accomplishment for a juvenile grey fleece. Quixotic's crias hit the ground for us starting in 2015 and we have been thrilled at what he is adding to our program here! Several of his offspring have been out and about in the showring and have earned top awards at several highly competitive shows, earning both champions and Judges’ Choice awards. Cloverleaf Alpacas Man of Steel is just one example of the quality we are seeing in Quixotic’s offspring and he is a true standout in the greys, earning top awards at every show he is in! Quixotic's crias have continued to wow and impress even the most discriminating buyers and breeders...and judges! His crias are outstandings!
