Captain Jack Sparrow

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 1000320DOB: 7/13/200321 yrs
Captain Jack Sparrow is one of our signature herdsires. Captain Jack is a captivating fawn male with an elite fleece that is to die for. Shown three times as a juvenile; with three first place wins, a Color Championship, and a Reserve Color Championship to kick off his show career, this big boy was off to a great start. Captain Jack has left judges breathless, but certainly not speechless upon opening his fleece. Captain Jack is a Peruvian Dakotia son (Bueno) and from our exceptional fawn foundation female Peruvian Accent (Accoyo Leon). Dakotia is of course no longer available due to the unfortunate Land-O-Lakes feed poisoning incident. Captain Jack has everything that you are looking for in a herdsire – perfect conformation, tremendous fleece coverage, a soft handle with high frequency and high amplitude crimp, and a particularly dense fleece that is aging well. He is also throwing colors across the board; literally from white to black and gray. Captain Jack is Co-Owned with Peterson Creek Ranch.

Dam:

Still a 2022 Top 5% EPD girl!!

WGA Isis by Nexxus

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 31400077DOB: 9/18/200816 yrs
Trust me, this girl had the name way before the Looney's in the middle east did. She is named after the revered Egyptian Goddess. Isis is the dam of Isidoro, Isla Saona, INXS, Stryker, KCF Jackpot, KCF Heiress, and now KCF Mudslide!! This crew of prepotent alpacas have 37 championships between them - so far. And with another breeding to our 15 X Champion CCNF Dominion on board for 2023, I would say you have a pretty good idea what's coming next.... Now retiring to the back 40 to live out her days, Isis is no longer for sale. Thank you Isis for all that you have done for us!!!!

Description

DONATION MADE BY: Kendall Creek Farms, Ltd. (PA) - Chris and Lori Works – [email protected] S & S Alpacas (PA) - Sherrie Hogue & Scott Bennett – [email protected] November 2016 UPDATE - Isidoro has the high scoring fleece (90.0) and wins the Spirit of the industry Award for the third time at PAOBA's Breeders' Showcase Fleece Show!! We are very humbled by Izzy receiving this award for a third time this year and gathering his 14th RC/CC. October 2016 UPDATE - Well, Isidoro continues to impress. Izzy wins the 2016 Empire Extravaganza Fleece Show Light Color Championship and is also awarded the Spirit of the Fiber Industry Award again; this time by long time senior judge Diana Timmerman. For those not familiar with this special award, it recognizes an "alpaca that holds and even increases its value to the owner by maintaining a fleece that remains commercially viable at the highest level of quality over time." This award is the most prestigious award in a fleece show in our opinion. July 2016 UPDATE - We could not be more proud!! Isidoro won the 2016 AOA International Fleece Show Judges Choice Award and was the anchor in our winning of the Vintage Cup Breeder Award. It just doesn't get much better than this. KCF Isidoro is our Light Fawn superstar stud that shares the same dam as our 10 time Champion brown female, KCF Isla Saona, and multiple Champion white female, KCF INXS. All are products of WGA Isis by Nexxus, whom we purchased just before she entered the ring and won the Judges Choice competition at the 2009 Empire Extravaganza. Isis went on to win 8 championships for us, and needless to say, is a permanent fixture at Kendall Creek Farms. Isidoro’s sire is our very own multi-champion Captain Jack Sparrow. Jack is the sire of Champions in Gray, Black, Brown, Fawn, and Light color classifications; and has sired champions in every year since he began breeding in 2005. He brings a tremendous amount to the table by imparting fleece structure and fineness with a lack of medulation on large frames with flawless conformation. Isidoro has made his own mark with his 14 Championships in the ultra-competitive Light division. The latest of his banners was just awarded at the 2016 PAOBA Breeders Showcase, where he won 1st and Color Champion in the fleece show with a score of 90.0. His individual scores 18.5 of 20 for fineness, combined with 20 of 20 for annualized weight (7.2 pound skirted blanket) may actually be unprecedented. In addition to all this, at the age of 44 months, Isidoro was awarded the Spirit of the Industry Award for his outstanding fleece qualities for his age class!!!! Now THAT is “fineness relative to density”. This was a repeat performance from the 2016 MAPACA Fleece show where he collected the same awards, PLUS the Color Championship at halter at 42 Months!!!!
