Thank you to Diane Sheesley of Rainbow Mountain Alpacas for being a co-owner of this spectacular appy male! Fusion is now residing and standing stud at her farm in Punxsutawney, PA. We were excited to purchase this beautiful male from the well-respected grey suri breeding program at Shasta Springs Alpacas. Fusion is definitely "eye candy", and when you see him you will want to breed to him, too. He has a gentle nature, strong solid conformation, and exquisite appaloosa coloring. He continues to get darker and darker in coloration with each shearing like his sire, who is now a dark grey in color. He is a large, weighing in at 185 lbs. He was shorn at 1 year old, and his 1st fleece weighed 6 lbs. with a 3.4 lb blanket, and was 9" in length. It has been shown and won Reserve Champion Grey Suris at the 2012 Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show, the largest suri fleece show in the world! Diana Timmerman, AOA Fleece Judge for the Suri Network, commented that his "Fleece is showing good luster and softness for a grey." Fusion had 8 crias born in 2016, producing 4 males and 4 females, producing 75% appaloosas from a variety of color dams! Check out his crias: Kazmere (m, appy), JackKnife (m, appy), Harley Quinn (m, harlequin), Vanity (f, appy), Prismatic (f, appy), Quinn (m, solid color), Tootsie Pop (f, solid color), and Ebony's cria (f, appy). WRSR Zanzibar by Fusion, his latest 2022 appy cria is a beautiful harlequin appy male. Watch for him at the shows in 2023! Fusion is now co-owned by Diane Sheesley at Rainbow Mountain Farms in Punxatawney, PA where he is standing stud. We are Opening his breedings! 5 Breedings available . Tanika is one of the most striking alpacas we have ever seen. She is full Peruvian, almost 1/2 Accoyo and has the most beautiful patterned fleece. She is dark brown, medium silver grey and beige on the outside and silver grey underneath with spots of dark fawn. She got great genetics from her grandsires--Macgyver and Tattoo with the appaloosa gene coming from Magnifico. VLA Peruvian Sustantivo or "Tivo" is the production of full Peruvian Tanika and Victoria Lane's General Lee. Tivo is a gorgeous light fawn and has some phenomenal fleece. It's wavy all the way to the skin and the luster is unbelievable. He has perfect conformation and won his first Championship at CABO 2013. We acquired Tanika in April 2015 for our foundation herd and to breed to our appy spotted male, Shasta Springs Fusion, and she produced a beautiful big spot appy cria in 2016, "WRSR Prismatic by Fusion". She was rebred to Fusion in the spring of 2017 and produced a very spotted male cria, "WRSR Hot Spot by Fusion" on 6/1/18. We are so-o-o-o excited! Check out his listing and look at those locks and spots. Tanika is not offered for sale. She came to us with skin issues after a bout of mange + infection beginning in 2012. We have treated her skin and continue to take care trying to get her elephant skin and missing hair and on her legs and belly to regrow. We love her color! Tanika was bred to our own appaloosa, WRSR JackKnife by Fusion for an April 2022 cria. Come see her at the farm - she is truly a standout!!

Description

This is the 1st appy cria from Tanika, an appy herself, and what a beautiful little girl she is! Prismatic, aka Prism, has a wonderful personality, is friendly and curious, and very lovely. She has pronounced spots all over her face and down her legs, along with spots on her main body. She is turning more of a rose grey color now at 6 months of age, and I believe that she will look like her mom, Tanika. Prism has very nice lock structure, good density, luster, and correct conformation. She is halter broken and will appear in the spring shows. Tanika, her dam, is one of the most striking alpacas we have ever seen in full fleece. She is full Peruvian, almost 1/2 Accoyo and has the most beautiful patterned fleece. She is dark brown, medium silver grey and beige on the outside and silver grey underneath with spots of dark fawn. She inherited great genetics from her grandsires--Macgyver and Tattoo. Fusion, his sire, is a strong gentle male with a great personality. His spots are very distinct and bold, giving him a giraffe like appearance. His base color is medium silver grey, with med fawn spots. Fusion has produced 75% appy crias from a variety of dams, and we are learning each year how to reproduce the appy pattern. Fusion is closed to outside breedings, but you can purchase a female bred to him. Contact Patti at 443-740-4240 for more information or to schedule a visit.
