Thank you to Diane Sheesley of Rainbow Mountain Alpacas for being a co-owner of this spectacular appy male! Fusion is now residing and standing stud at her farm in Punxsutawney, PA. We were excited to purchase this beautiful male from the well-respected grey suri breeding program at Shasta Springs Alpacas. Fusion is definitely "eye candy", and when you see him you will want to breed to him, too. He has a gentle nature, strong solid conformation, and exquisite appaloosa coloring. He continues to get darker and darker in coloration with each shearing like his sire, who is now a dark grey in color. He is a large, weighing in at 185 lbs. He was shorn at 1 year old, and his 1st fleece weighed 6 lbs. with a 3.4 lb blanket, and was 9" in length. It has been shown and won Reserve Champion Grey Suris at the 2012 Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show, the largest suri fleece show in the world! Diana Timmerman, AOA Fleece Judge for the Suri Network, commented that his "Fleece is showing good luster and softness for a grey." Fusion had 8 crias born in 2016, producing 4 males and 4 females, producing 75% appaloosas from a variety of color dams! Say It All Bubba is a beautiful dark rose grey female with plenty of locking and luster. She is the offspring of a black sire and a black dam, and has an amazing color background and density. While she is smaller in stature, she has solid conformation, heavy bone, and fleece coverage everywhere. Beth sheared a 4 lb, 6 oz blanket in 2015 as her 4th fleece, exhibiting a high degree of luster, lock, and density. She will be an excellent foundation dam offering solid conformation, density, lock and of course, black and grey genetics. Bubba was only shown twice, as she was awarded 1st Place as a juvenile in the 2012 Best of the US Alpaca Show and a 1st Place as a yearling in the 2013 OABA Alpacafest Show. Clearly, she has potential! Bubba's dam is Say Again, and comes from a stacked background of black and grey full Peruvian suri alpacas. She has such noted names in her bloodlines of Magnifico (Dark Grey), Black Chip (black), Brigadier (Dark Brown), Sergeant Major Jax (Dark Brown), Bailey (True Black),and Say Anything by Brigadier (Dark Grey). Smokey, Bubba's sire, is a True Black Suri male with excellent conformation and a perfect head. His luster makes judges take a second "Wow!" look and has garnered him 4 Black Championships. Smokey has produced several offspring ranging in color from True Black to Fawn. Bubba was bred to WRSR Serengeti by Razor for a June 2018 cria and produced a dark fawn female with grey highlights on her head and neck, WRSR Ashley by Serengeti. Serengeti is our 5X Color Champion with a 22 micron fleece at the age of 6. Bubba produced a solid light brown boy with gorgeous lock and luster, WRSR Quintavius by Fusion, aka"Quinn" in 2017. Description

We were expecting spots, but instead were surprised to get a solid medium brown beautiful boy. Quinn has a lovely uniform fleece with great luster and fineness. His locks are uniform throughout and he appears to have very good density at this young age. His conformation is correct, and he has a sweet, playful personality. Quinn is one of the two solid crias from Fusion breedings, and both dams were grey. Good news is that Quinn definitely carries grey genetics, and perhaps even appy from Fusion. His dam, Bubba, is a solid dark rose grey with no apparent spotting anywhere, which may explain his solid color. Fusion, of course, has sizeable spots everywhere! If you are breeding for grey, Quinn offers interesting genetics with his background. Check out his ARI and see all the color in his background.
