Thank you to Diane Sheesley of Rainbow Mountain Alpacas for being a co-owner of this spectacular appy male! Fusion is now residing and standing stud at her farm in Punxsutawney, PA. We were excited to purchase this beautiful male from the well-respected grey suri breeding program at Shasta Springs Alpacas. Fusion is definitely "eye candy", and when you see him you will want to breed to him, too. He has a gentle nature, strong solid conformation, and exquisite appaloosa coloring. He continues to get darker and darker in coloration with each shearing like his sire, who is now a dark grey in color. He is a large, weighing in at 185 lbs. He was shorn at 1 year old, and his 1st fleece weighed 6 lbs. with a 3.4 lb blanket, and was 9" in length. It has been shown and won Reserve Champion Grey Suris at the 2012 Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show, the largest suri fleece show in the world! Diana Timmerman, AOA Fleece Judge for the Suri Network, commented that his "Fleece is showing good luster and softness for a grey." Fusion had 8 crias born in 2016, producing 4 males and 4 females, producing 75% appaloosas from a variety of color dams! Check out his crias: Kazmere (m, appy), JackKnife (m, appy), Harley Quinn (m, harlequin), Vanity (f, appy), Prismatic (f, appy), Quinn (m, solid color), Tootsie Pop (f, solid color), and Ebony's cria (f, appy). Dam: Azteka

Fantastic pattern, beautiful fleece!

Azteka

SuriOpen (Female)White, Medium Brown
AOA# 31994392DOB: 8/27/201014 yrs
Azteka is a stunning pattern female with beautiful high luster brown and white markings. She is upright, showy, and has a great disposition. I really liked Azteka's flashiness and her fine fleece. Not only that, but she is proven and easily delivered her crias, Marauder's Blade, a high luster male by the rose grey WRSR Mercury's Marauder, and Kazmere, an appaloosa and 2X Halter and 2X Fleece Champion. Her bloodlines include Blazen Saddle JAX, sire to 12X Champion PIVAL Blazen Son, aka "Sonny", true black GS Saladin, producer of champions, and Woodsedge Flash Fusion the high luster herd sire from WoodsEdge Farm. Azteka has the potential to produce a variety of colors with fineness in her crias, as evidenced by her first cria, Blade. Azteka is an easy-going female, even when pregnant, and an easy keeper. In 2016, Azteka delivered a beautiful and healthy male appaloosa cria, WRSR Kazmere by Fusion on 5/26/16. He has great luster, and fine, locked fleece. Kazmere was awarded Grey Color Champion at the 2017 Buckeye Show, and Grey Color Champion at the 2017 AOA National Fleece Show. He off to a great start with championships in both halter and fleece! She delivered another patterned male cria, white and light fawn with a few spots with a gorgeous fleece in July 2017. Azteka was rebred in 2017 to our phenomenal grey appy, Fusion, and delivered a beautiful appaloosa/pinto male weighing 19.8 lb in August 2018. His color pattern is very unusual and eye-catching. He has a pinto pattern on the back half with modern grey appaloosa on the front half. Contact Patti for more information at 443-740-4240 and details about our guarantees.

Description

Kazmere is a beautiful appy with shades of rose greys, black, fawn and silver colors, a product of an appy sire and a pinto with sots. He appears to have great density with dense, layered locks across his entire body, exhibiting high luster as well. Not only is he striking in his stance and a real eye-catcher, he has a gentle, curious nature and is easy to handle. Kazmere's 2017 histogram yielded an AFD of 22.0 microns, SD 5.16, and CV 23.42. At the age of 4, Kazmere's 2020 histogram (for EPDs) was an impressive AFD 23.6, SD 4.6, CV 19.5, and comfort factor of 92.6%. Kazmere's dam is Azteka, a proven dam who has been rebred to Kazmere's sire, Fusion. Azteka was never shown, but exhibits high luster, excellent fineness, and a standout showy appearance. She is easy-going in nature and a great mom, too. Fusion, our appy grey herd sire, is the sire of Kazmere, and Kazmere is his first cria, and an appy one at that! Fusion's bloodlines include MacGyver, Condor, Magnifico, and Peruvian Juan, giving him density, lock, color and luster. Fusion is a strong gentle male with a great personality. His spots are very distinct and bold, giving him a giraffe like appearance. You can best see his spots in his shorn photo on his page. His base color is medium silver grey, with med fawn spots. Fusion has produced 75% appy crias from a variety of dams, and we are learning each year how to reproduce the appy pattern. Fusion is closed to outside breedings, but you can purchase a female bred to him. Kazmere is now proven, with 3 pregnancies confirmed via ultrasound and one pending. He is available for stud services. Kazmere lost a testicle sometime between his Championship at the Buckeye Show (definitely both there) and the MAPACA Jubilee Show about 5 weeks later when he placed 4th. Kazmere was doing a lot of wrestling and fighting, and it is most likely that the testicle was somehow injured and was reabsorbed. Because he lost testicle was due to injury and not a congenital birth defect, we are confident that he will produce beautiful bronze/grey spotted appaloosa crias. Full breeding guarantees apply.
