Rainier's Axel Cloud is the son of the well-known Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud, an outstanding grey herdsire who has put his stamp on a great number of the best grey and rose grey alpacas in the country. Axel Cloud is truly the total package if you are looking for a light rose grey herdsire! His fleece statistics place him in the most elite category sharing that distinction with very few of the most elite whites and lights. Axel possesses a truly fine -- and uniformly fine -- fleece. We only have one histogram to date; however, experienced fleece sorter/graders confirm he remains royal baby grade in every respect. Axel has very correct conformation and a relaxed personality which his offspring are inheriting along with his fine, luxurious fleece. He currently has 7 beautiful cria on the ground. Six of them are female. We have four here at Cascade Rose and three were born in 2015 on other Farms: • A medium rose grey male (Ice Pond Ramblin Man) out of a medium brown dam • A dark brown female (Ice Pond Lilly) out of a dark brown dam • A dark silver grey female (Ironic—Hidden Hills) out of a fawn dam So far, all of Axel's offspring have done very well in the showring!

Cami is a lovely compact female. She is extremely dense and fine and packs a lot of fleece on her sturdy frame. She has proven to have excellent mothering skills with her first two cria. She is easily handled and has a sweet, relaxed disposition. She seems to pass on this good nature,as well as outstanding fleece characteristics, to her offspring.

Some alpacas come into their own as they mature. Infinity & Then Some proved that at the 2019 Alpacapalooza show when he took the Judges' Choice award at five years of age. Not only that, but he beat out the two-year-old AOA National white color champion for this distinction. AOA judges Jill Marcellus and Stephanie Glyptis recognized the fineness, crimp architecture and consistency that set the "old guy" apart from the others. Infinity's fifth year fleece stats were: AFD 18.3, SD 4.1, CV 22.8 and >30 1.5. In terms of EPDs, he has three traits in the top 5% and one in the top 10%. He started his breeding career immediately after the 'Palooza show, and cria are expected this spring. Infinity comes from the El Nino line of Accoyos.
