CHAKOTAH'S MIDAS is our "Stellar" 5 time JUDGES CHOICE herdsire. We have been amazed and thrilled with his performance on the show circuit. He is a real head turner as all who have seen him at the shows will attest. Midas has the most amazing, dense, soft fleece of any suri we have ever seen. To top it all off, Midas is calm and easy to handle unless he's in front of the photographer! We are so excited to be able to offer his amazing genetics to alpaca breeders in the southeast in particular. Who says we can't compete with the breeders in the north! MOST of his cria have been banner winners already! Something fun of note, 70% of his cria have been the color of their mother. He's thrown every color so far except silver grey. The only reason that hasn't happened yet is that we haven't put him with a silver grey dam! We have several Midas babies so far this spring and we can't wait to see how this crop does in the ring!

Tatianna is all you can ask for in a Suri. She's a big girl with outstanding conformation and GEORGOUS black fleece! She is locked to the skin with luster to spare! She has the kind of fiber that is so hard to come by in black. Her Daddy, Peruvian Silver Heat, is a magnificent medium silver grey with 10 blue ribbons, 3 Reserve Championships and 1 Color Championship! She already is a tremendous addition to our foundation females. Her own show career was something else! 4 COLOR CHAMPIONSHIPS, 5 RESERVE COLOR CHAMPIONSHIPS and 10 Blue Ribbons. We now know that this was an outstanding decision! Her first cria is Midas' Black Ice and he is magnificent! He was in 8 shows as a Juvie and has 8 Color Championships, 8 Blue Ribbons, 1 Judges Choice and is the AOA NATIONAL SUPREME CHAMPION DARK SURI MALE. Needless to say, we will repeat the breeding in 2017 (why wouldn't we?)!
