We were stoked when he has born and he is a fabulous breeder for us. His production has been wonderful. Consistent, fine, dense and with that "Pucara" look we have striven to achieve and maintain. How often is it that your eye is taken by a stud male, you charge in to look at the fleece and damn it either the fineness or the density is below the quality of the other trait! They are what is known as antagonistic traits. This is where Kekoa stands apart. He exhibits incredible luster as a result of the fineneess, the uniformity of micron and the accentuated density. Young Alberta had a successful show career but more than anything it was her extreme luster and accentuated locking which qualified our purchase of her. Now her sire, Pucara PurSuri Kahuna's Tikanui now owned by the Hasselbrings has been a prolific force lately in the show ring winning get awards and Futurity Herdsire of the Year awards.
